Las Brujas de Cachiche Ica

Cachiche, es un lugar de la brujería y el curanderismo, Cachiche que en

lengua quechua significa o que quiere decir: Cachi=lugar o tierra salada.
Por tal motivo este bello caserío ubicado al suroeste del distrito de Ica están
siempre puentes las palmeras que mayormente nacen en lugares o tierras
salitrosas.

En el humilde pueblo (Cachiche) se reunían todas las brujas de Ica de los

distritos como salas Guadalupe, San Juan Bautista, Pachacutec, Santiago,
Ocuaje, Los Molinos.
El lugar de reunión era en donde actualmente se encuentra levantando el
monumento de la bruja de Cachiche; conocida a nivel nacional e internacional
como la “Doctora Corazón” era muy conocida por sus famosos amarres y
brujerías, ella practicaba la Brujería Blanca y la Brujería Negra.
En la brujería blanca se practicaban, el curanderismo, los amarres, etc. Por otro
lado, en la brujería negra se hacía daños a las personas, etc.

Segun cuentan los lugareños que al mágico pueblo de Cachiche llegó a

visitar Don Fernando León de Vivero, quien fue un importante líder político de
la ciudad que ocupó cinco veces la presidencia de la Cámara de Diputados de
Ica, es por eso que se le conoce como el “Patriarca Iqueño”. Don Francisco León
de Vivero, a la edad de 14-15 años era un muchacho quién tenía problemas para
articular frases completas, llegó a manos de la bruja quien lo curó y además le
augurio que va a llegar a ser un gran profesional.

Al fallecer la bruja, el líder político, encomendó construir un monumento en honor

a la Bruja que le devolvió el habla. Este monumento está compuesto por un buho
que significa inteligencia, sabiduría, brujería blanca y una calavera que significa
maldad, hechicería, brujería negra, sus brazos están en forma de “V” que
significa victoria y veneración.

La bruja solía usar un pedazo de huarango (árbol oriundo de la zona) que

comúnmente se le conoce como el algarrobo (en el norte) o árbol milenario por
los muchos años que suele vivir, el cual le hacía girar en forma de un compás
que marcaba una circunferencia y que cuando ésta paraba siempre indicaba a
la Bruja de Cachiche.

La bruja se llamó Julia Nazaria Hernández Pecho Viuda de Díaz, quien fallece
a los 101 años debido a un paro cardiaco.

En este místico pueblo de Cachiche también se encuentra la famosa “Palmera

de 7 cabezas” que son unas palmeras que se introducen en el suelo y vuelven
a salir, tiene forma de un pulpo. Estas palmeras coinciden con un número
cabalístico que es el número “siete” que para algunas personas es un número
de mala suerte. Sin embargo, para este pueblo significa buena suerte, ya que
coincide con los siete pabellones de la cárcel de Cachiche: “Cristo Rey de
Cachiche”, las siete lagunas que hubieron en Ica (Orovilca, La Huega,
Huacachina, Pozo hediondo, La victoria, etc.), las siete plagas del mundo, las
siete maravillas del mundo, etc.

Existen dos versiones sobre la palmera de las siete cabezas:

En más conocido, se dice que las palmeras surgieron como consecuencia del
enfrentamiento entre la bruja y el pulpo que cuidaba el tesoro.
Las aguas del mar llegaba hasta donde se encuentra el actual penal Cristo Rey
de Cachiche y se cuenta que los conquistadores españoles llegaron a descansar
en dicho lugar y el mar los atrapó en sus aguas y el tesoro que llevaban con ellos
quedó al cuidado de un pulpo. La bruja ambiciosa, quería poseer el tesoro y
desató una batalla. En esta contienda, llegó a cortar seis tentáculos al pulpo y
éste mató a la hechicera con el tentáculo que le quedaba. Sin embargo, la bruja
mientras moría iba recitando una maldición que decía que si nace la séptima
palmera, Ica se hunde por completo convirtiéndose en una enorme laguna.

Por esta razón, cuando los pobladores ven crecer una palmera en dicho lugar
la cortan para que no se cumpla dicha maldición hecha por la bruja.
Por último, la bruja dejó un gran mensaje que dice así: “ Que hacéis esta visita,
que hacéis en este lugar, que la bruja, el Curanderismo y Dios los ayuden, que
vayan cambiando suerte, cambiando destino, hasta encontrar la paz y felicidad
en sus hogares”.

La PIRÁMIDE

Al llegar a Cachiche podemos encontrar un «Centro Metafísico» en donde

encontraremos una pirámide hecha de adobe, la cual se está ubicada casi en
una esquina del local. Las guías suelen explicar cuál es su función y como la
gente acude a Cachiche de todas partes del mundo para alejar la mala vibra y
limpiar su aura.

Se puede apreciar que la pirámide tiene en la punta un cuarzo que sirve para
sacar las malas energías del alma de las personas y así a través de rezos y

desde el frente, podías observar un elefante con su trompa y sus orejas. Y esto
