It is defined as the rate of flow of charge.

It is denoted by capital I.
Formula = Q/T
where Q is current and T is time.
Question1. Define one ampere?
Answer1.The electric current is said to be one ampere if one coulomb of chrage
flow through a conductor in one second.
Question2.What is the SI unit of current?
Answer2.The SI unit of current is Ampere which is equal to 1c/s.
Second topic: Potential and Potential difference.
It is defined as the amount of work done to bring a unit of charge from one
terminal to another terminal.
It is denoted by capital V.
Formula = W/Q
where Q is charge and W is work done.
Question3. Define one volt?
Answer3.The potential difference is sail to be one volt if one joule of work
done to carry one coulomb of charge from one terminal to another terminal.
Question4.What is SI unit of potential differenece?
Answer4.The SI unit of potential difference is volt.
Question5.Name the device that helps to maintain a potential
differenece across a conductor?
Answer5.Battery or cell.
Third topic: Ammeter.
It is a device used to measure the amoumt of currnt present in the circuit.
It is always used in series combination.
Forth topic: Voltmeter.
It is a device used to mesure the amount of potential difference across the
conductor.
It is used in parallel combination.
Fifth topic: Galvanometer.
It is a device used to verify if their is curent in the conductor or not.
Sixth topic: OHM'S LAW
This statement states that the amoumt of current flowing through the conductor
is directly proportion to the potential difference across the conductor applied
across th eends of conductor at constant temperature and atmospheric pressure.

where Slpoe is Resistance(R).
