Course Description : Course covers the evolution of patrol during the prehistoric times compared to the present organizational set-up of a patrol
force, its functions and responsibilities, to include types of patrol, strategies, tactics and techniques: patrol supervision; and its functional relationships with other
police units. It includes study and usage of the existing police communications, equipment. Moreover the importance of written reports anchored on the five W’s and one H.
