CONTENT STANDARD/S:
Understand decorative arts and explain the process of creating this art so students may learn to
recycle things and create a new piece of art.

ASSESSMENT
PERFORMANCE TASK:

Grade 10 students will have an Art Making Contest with a theme “ Kalikasan , Pangalagaan”.
Each contestant will use recyclable materials to form a creative art. This activity is for the
students to inculcate the value of saving the environment.

Product : A creative art work through the use of recyclable materials
Standard : The product will be graded according to the rubrics written below:

II. Lesson Development
A. Presentation of Concept :
Students will know the procedures involved in doing ceramics.
Students will be able to explain procedures in doing ceramics.
Activities:
The class will be divided into four groups . Each group will discuss them procedures
in doing ceramics . They are going to create a project about ceramics following the
procedures of doing it. Each member will participate in doing the said project.
Presentation of project will be followed.
A short input about ceramics will be given after the presentation.

The class will be divided into four groups . Each group will discuss the
procedures in doing jewelries. They are going to create an art activity about
jewelries following the procedures of doing it. Each member will participate in
doing the art activity . Presentation of project will be followed.
A short input about jewelry will be given after the presentation.

The students will analyse the meaning of each poster . This will serve as their
recitation for the day.

A. Presentation of Concept :
Students will know the meaning of Haiku
Students will be able to explain the procedures in doing a Haiku
Activities:
Checking of materials will be done before doing the activity.
The class will be divided into four groups . Each group will discuss the procedures in
doing a Haiku . After discussion , each member will create his/her Haiku. The art work
will be presented in front of the class after the activity.
A short input before the presentation will be given.
