INTRODUCTION
It is therefore a primary object of the research to provide a rice vending machine in which

a controlling unit and a cooperative packing unit make it possible to adjust the amount of the

purchased rice as necessary. Therefore, the rice can be more freshly and hygienically reserved

without waste. Without man, the rice vending machine can sell the rice without limitation of site

and business time so as to lower rice selling cost.

According to Bane Kyamko (2017) rice vending machine includes housing, a rice

container, a packing unit and a controlling unit. The controlling unit and the cooperative packing

unit make it possible to adjust the amount of the purchased rice as necessary. Therefore, the rice

can be more freshly and hygienically reserved without waste. Without man, the rice vending

machine can sell the rice without limitation of site and business time so as to lower rice selling

cost.

According to Kalaiselvan P. (2015) Automatic Paper Vending Machine Though,

automatic vending machines are available to deliver various commodities, the vending machine

to deliver raw sheets of paper do not exist, which is a much needed one. Paper finds applications

almost everywhere and this type of automatic paper vending machines could be used to reduce

time and human effort with improved accuracy.

At present we are using a manual process of buying and selling rice in our public market

and even in super stores, the rice is scope and weight manually by attendant of the store. The

problem with this process is some instances that the actual weigh of the rice base on the buyer
that are being paid is lesser maybe because due to the scale that are using in the store, since it

was a spring loaded scale design, at a certain time that the machine is used there is a possibility

of wear and tear. With this the scale cannot give the exact result. And rice itself is very exposed

to harmful bacteria that can affect the health of the consumer it is because the rice is display or

stock into an open box type made of ply board without cover container that are in which we

observed that all the store is using this kind of design. The buyer cannot buy rice at a specific

time like midnight because the store is close.

In order to solve these problems such as long waiting time, uneven weight of rice, poor

sanitary conditions and food waste, high working intension for workers selling rice in collective

canteens of higher schools and higher colleges and enterprise and public institution, sell rice

machine is designed automatically by inserting coin to pay. The machine support multiple

variety of rice that can be set into different prices, the system is equipped with touch screen

display for monitoring and setting up the machine.
