Today man is able to send and receive data by e-mail or an audio-video

just by the click of a button but did he ever think how securely his data
is being transmitted or sent to other person safely without any leakage
of information? The answer to this question is in cyber security. Today
internet is fastest growing infrastructure in everyday life, which will
affect a lot of individuals who are prone to be a victim of cyber attacks.
For this purpose, cyber security awareness must be one of the major
concerns.
The goal of this study is to create and spread awareness about cyber
security and hence educate so that users can protect their data. This will
include ways to reduce the cyber crime and help victims of cyber-
attacks.
The scope of cyber security is tremendous in todays timeline. In every
organisation either be private or government stores its data in computer
and communication in one network to others. This puts their data on
the verge of hacking. The scope extends right from individuals to big
institutes and government organisations.

The following research methodology will be followed by us:

1. One to one interviews of individuals. This will include asking
them questions related to cyber security and cyber-crimes.
2. Interviews of parents and teachers. This will include asking
various questions on how. They protect their valuable data or
what precautions they take.
3. Surveys through google forms.
4. Newspaper articles and internet.
Creating awareness about cyber security throughout the nation would
require time and lot of workforce. Few people in rural areas are
illiterate, for whom it is very difficult to understand cyber-security and
follow it. These people are easily victims of cyber-crimes and cording.
Few internet security techniques are rather costly due to which lot of
users skip the internet security measures.
There is no protect and complete solution for cyber-crimes, but we
should try our level best to minimize them in order to have safe and
secure future. For greater security, private and public companies will
have to take the responsibility collectively to ensure safety of there
customers information and other confidential data. Individuals should
be made aware about various types of cyber attacks and basic education
should be provided for better future of nation.
