L.L.C QUALITY, HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT (QHSE) POLICY STATEMENT ALSA will strive to pursue a sound Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental System and Program in order to protect the health and safety of employees, contractors, customers and the community at large and to protect and contribute positively to the environment for sustainable development. ALSA is committed to: * Conducting its business activities in a safe and responsible manner which protects the health and safety of its workers and the public; ‘* Preserving the environment and maintaining the integrity of corporate assets; and «Ensuring the highest quality of products and services. To comply with this policy, ALSA shall; © Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations and apply relevant standards where laws and regulations do not exist; Comply with the applicable Specifications, Standards and Procedures at all stages of contract execution; Identify, analyze and effectively manage all risks arising from work activities; * Set annual QHSE objectives and performance targets, and conduet reviews at planned intervals to ‘monitor progress and achievements; Provide work policies and procedures that meet appropriate performance standards and continuously reduce HSE risks; Reduce the environmental and health impacts of operations and make efficient use of natural resources and energy; ‘Assure the competence of all staff and sub-contractors to perform their duties in a safe manner; © Continuously strive to improve QHSE performance standards, including reducing and, wherever possible, preventing accidents, environmental pollution and reworks; Inform and encourage employees to act responsibly and take all necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from injury, occupational illness and environmental damage that could arise during implementation of their duties and responsibilities; «Ensure that all employees receive adequate and suitable training; Ensure whenever sub-contractors are employed, their commitment to, and compliance with HSE standards are at par with those of ALSA; «Plan, source and mobilize proper resources like manpower, equipment and materials; ‘Hold managers, supervisors and all workers accountable for their actions. ALSA shall endeavor to take adequate steps to continually improve their processes, quality of products and services, and HSE performance.
