performance?

Section II- Literature Review 2500

Reviews on past research and literary works will be discussed here in line with the topic
selected for the research. Sub-headings will be used here for a different theme in the context of
Business Development Software implementation and its usage, its benefits obtained if any, the
implications and negative impacts, out of scope matters.

The research gap will also be discussed here and the steps taken by the researcher to fill the
gap from this current research.

Business intelligence development through software empowerment

The global business scenario of this era has been found strongly relying on effective business
intelligence for the purpose of ensuring value addition within the competitive markets. This is
the reason why most of the business organisation nowadays intend to acknowledge and
implement the most convenient business development software programs for the purpose of
determining sustainable benefits in the competitive business markets. For a better
understanding of this issue, this study considered the article of Maté et al. (2016) that focuses
on the process of business intelligence with the help of global software. This article aimed at
improving Global Software Development Management on the foundation of a systematic
method to adapt the most convenient business intelligence techniques considering the
development environment. It also facilitated the approach to adapt the business intelligence
framework as per the tailored development requirements of global software development in
order to empower data navigation efforts from both the specific and common perspectives.
With all the useful outcomes related to business intelligence development, this article is found
struggling in presenting inaccessible data from previous frameworks. This article was also yet
to determine the comparison between the traditional tools in the context of integration and
presentation through a single place.

Business Intelligence development with the Internet of Things

The acknowledgement and integration of Internet of Things or IoT have become one of the
prior concerns for most of the business organisations around the world.it has emerged as one
of the inseparable strategies that determine sustainable business development within the
competitive markets. In the article ‘Business models for the Internet of Things’ by Dijkman et
al. (2015) has shed light on this context in a wide spectrum. This article finds this technology
extensively equipped with actuators, sensors and communication language. This article also
identified this technology to be existing with large varieties of domains including Healthcare,
Energy, and manufacturing for the purpose of developing new applications and keep improving
the existing business applications. In this article, it has also become evident that the frameworks
develop based on IoT and also help the business organisation build the blocks for further
business model applications. It has also been found playing key roles in the process of building
blocks and initiating the direction of the business model type. However, the gradual process of
business development followed by the progress of business model implementation and follow-
up have not been described properly in this article, which could be sustainably beneficial for
the business organisations.

Cloud computing for developing the business ecosystem

This part of the study focuses on analysing the impact of disruptive technology along with the
benefits of shifting Business models to cloud computing. For extensive analysis in this context,
this study considered the article of Nieuwenhuis et al. (2018) that clearly explained that the
enterprise resource planning helps in shifting the on-premise technology to the cloud-based.
This article also explained that the further progress of business intelligence models can also be
competent enough to ensure favourable business ecosystem by distinguishing the rules of
different stakeholders. Another major contribution of this article is that it indicated at the value-
added resellers need to extend help as per the business process management. The
acknowledgement of Cloud computing has also been found as an extension that includes
workflow analysis of the clients along with the maintenance of a standardized cloud solution.
Nevertheless, this article could not elaborate on the perceptions of the vendors in the process
of penetrating the cloud market that is managed by the value-added resellers. In addition to it,
issues related to Interface, migration, and mobile application have been left unaddressed the
most possible critical manner by this article.

Business model development for improving frontline employee performance

It is always necessary for the management of a business organisation to ensure a continuous

process of performance improvement in order to continue with sustainable developments in the
markets. This is the reason why this study intends to review the article by Korschun et al.
(2014) that shed light on the purpose and outcomes of maintaining effective business
development efforts in order to determine corporate social responsibility, employee
performance, and customer orientation. In this regard, the employees from different financial
services companies had been surveyed in order to identify the organisational needs in terms of
the inclusion or adaptation of business development software based on the specifications of
customers and other stakeholders. It also had indicated at the necessity of acknowledging CSR
activities the sense of self of the employees within the workplaces. In this way, it had succeeded
to distinguish employee-customer identification customer orientation and led towards the
development of needful manifestation of distinct mechanisms through business development
software planning, although it failed to grow critical concerns related to the parameters of CSR
planning so that the business organisations define their needfulness as per the target
identification of the markets. It also had a deficiency in explaining planning for the observable
changes among the employee behaviour that was lit the Frontline deliverables of the
businesses.

Service development through business development software

Contemporary business organisations, especially from the manufacturing industry always need
to emphasize on a continuous process of performance improvement in order to determine the
most convincing quality of the product for manufacturing goods. In this regard, the article by
Sommer et al. (2015) has been considered for review, as it had focused on improved product
development performance on the foundation of agile for stage-gate hybrids. This article aimed
at reflecting the most useful performance development efforts with the consideration of the
next generation stage-gate process. It clearly identified the linear development process as
incompetent to support external collaboration and iterative cycles that mostly influence
contemporary APIs for product development. This article had played an evident role in
promoting the necessity of hybrid performance software with the combination of agile and
stage-gate hybrids to generate extensive possibilities for the flexible alternatives in comparison
to the conventional systems. From the contrary perspective, this article had been found quite a
bias while explaining the key contributions of this combined performance efforts that created
issues to understand the comparative perspectives clearly for the possible outcomes of other
less known linear performance development software.

Managerial learning software for employee performance assessment

Reviewing the employee performance and ensuring a continuous process of performance

monitoring are extensively useful for the business organisations in this era of
globalisation. However, it needs proper managerial coaching based on Effective adaptation of
business development model and implementation of development software to determine
future-oriented sustainable practices. The article by Beattie et al. (2014) strongly indicated at
the necessity of both the environmental and individual appropriateness within the workplaces.
In this context, this article explained the benefits of evidence-based human resource
development software in order to inform and support the professionals simultaneously in
regards to the monitoring process of employee performances. It had also been praised for
enhancing the coaching capability of the developing managers in order to align the benefits in
the process of training the frontline employees. The adaptation of such business development
software had also been identified to be e efficient for the HRD professionals by helping them
to determine effective intervention for learning in the long run. This article too had remained
partial in promoting the benefits of one particular idea and failed to develop comparative views
in this context of business development software adaptation and implementation.
