CHAPTER 4

FINDINGS

This chapter contains the presentation of the results from the gathered data that leads

to the possible answer to the research questions presented.

The Problem determine and identify the views towards traditional and modern

courtship of Grade 11 students.

On the table 3, it shows the average weighted mean obtained using the questionnaire

for the views of women in courtship of Grade 11 students and it contains 10 indicators. Also,

in the table are descriptive equivalences of the average weighted mean obtained wherein the

interpretation and implication of the results are based.

On table 3, the average weighted mean of women’s view in courtship both traditional

and modern are seen. It can be observed in the table that a mean of 3.64, according to the

study, respondents' believes that love is sincere in traditional courtship with a level

description of "Always", followed by courtship is important to every relationship with a mean

of 3.56 also describe as "Always". In traditional courtship method needs to be retained with a

mean of 3.08, modern courtship is effective with a mean of 2.75, modern courtship is

interesting with a mean of 2.65 are described as "Most of the time". Feeling of awkwardness

in modern way of courtship with a mean 2.48, modern is fast with a mean of 2.47, mobile

technologies are helpful in courting having a mean of 2.6, modern courtship is not genuine

with a mean of 2.39 describe as “Sometimes”. Traditional courtship is boring with the mean

of 1.38 and described as "Never".

The result of the findings shows that there's a big difference between traditional courtship and

modern courtship.
