Systems for high demands
The new generation building system
The system has a strong and stable design based on 86 mm
deep profiles. The standard version is insulated with 42 mm for doors, windows and glazed
glass fibre reinforced polyamide strips. For even higher energy
performance the 86 SX version has Sapa Thermo N9 insula-
elements, developed with a clear
tion strips. Windows are also available in 86 PX specification focus on energy and performance.
with Sapa Thermo P8 insulation strips that raise the energy
performance to Passive House standard. The Sapa Thermo 86 series
Doors with Plus or Extreme weather performance
combines low U-values, excellent
Both the standard version and SX versions are available with
enhanced weather performance in Plus or Extreme specifi- airtightness and watertightness and
cation. The Plus version meets air permeability class 2 and

very good sound reduction.
weather performance and meets air permeability class 4 and
watertightness class 9A. It has three-point locking and can be
supplied as a single door.
Plus and Extreme are available with a maximum door height
of 2500 mm and with a choice of three thresholds for Plus
and two for Extreme. When glazed with sound-reducing glass
these doors give a maximum Rw-value of 44 dB.

Windows and glazed elements with three

insulation levels
Our aluminium windows combine good durability, minimal
maintenance and long life. The opening version of the 1086
SX window is available with a U-value as low as 0.88 W/m2K
for a window measuring 1230 x 1480 mm.
1086 PX achieves Passive House standard, Uw=0.80 W/m2K
with glazing Ug=0.50 W/m2K.
Sapa Window 1086 Sapa Glazed Element 3086
Available as fixed or inward-opening window. Also available
with concealed hinges. Fixed windows and glazing units are
called Glazed Element 3086.

Innovative fire protection and smoke-tightness

Our specially developed insulating strips for the SX version
are used to provide both fire protection and thermal insulation.
With minimal additions our door system 2086 can meet fire
protection class EI 60 and smoke-tightness class Sa, S200.
Fire doors can be supplied as single or double doors with side-
lights and top lights.

The system has single-panel ventilation/drainage,
which means that each glass/infill panel is ventilated

Sapa window system 1086 also includes windows,

basic design and when combined create a harmo-

sliding French window is available in two insulation
