from the wholesaler
• The wholesaler ships quantities to the retailer and sends orders to the distributor
• The distributor ships quantities to the wholesaler and sends orders to the manufacturer
• The manufacturer ships quantities to the distributor and produces internally the beer packs

Demand

Supply

See below the game layout.

• At each turn, all partners in the supply chain have to choose the quantity of beer packs to be ordered - using the
outgoing order field.
• Once all orders are confirmed, they are sent down the chain (visible in the incoming order field).
• If your supplier has enough stock, the order is sent automatically and will take 3 weeks to arrive - going through
the incoming fields step 1 and 2.
• If your supplier doesn’t have enough Stock the quantities will be added as Backlog (orders waiting to be filled) - he
will ship them as soon as he gets some extra stock on his own.

Please note:
• In the game you’ll only be able to see your own stock/data.
• You can order between 0 and 999 units each week.
• Holding too much Stock is costly (5$/unit/week), however having Backlog (not enough stock) will be even more
costly (25$/unit/week). Your goal is to keep these costs to a minimum.
• Think carefully before ordering, try to anticipate the future demand.
