PREFACE
The subject of this dissertation is an investigation of the
Trends of urbanisation in Lucknow on geography teaching in
Bachelors. In particular the focus is on the significant factors that
influence and facilitate observer ability to embrace it in their
geographical knowledge by using it. I am interested in discovering
what the main barriers are to observers who do not integrate
different aspect of urbanisation in the geography curriculum. This
is a current and topical issue and is a problem in some metropolis
but not in others smaller towns and I have set out to attempt to
discover the various structural-spatial-morphological aspect of
urbanisation. This study draws upon experiences in my
professional career and interests within education, and builds on
and brings together some of the facets of education which I have
studied during my B.A. studies over the past Three years. It focuses
on a topical issue and I hope that the findings will be of practical
use to geography in Bachelors.
