Introduction
Candy House is a shop that owned by Ms. Lenore O, Quiaoit , Ms. Danica G, Balanag, and
Ms. Lea Matis, this store is located in Makati City, to be more specific it is inside of Glorietta 5,
2nd floor beside of Shakey’s Restaurant, Candy House also have a branch store in Bonifacio Global
City but mostly known as BGC, and in Mendiola Manila and lasly Pasay City along Taft Avenue.
Candy House is not about candies, we also have chocolates and all kinds of sweets, candy house
are filled with an assortment of sweets far larger than a grocer or convenience store could
accommodate, the store also offers more than 5,000 different products from well-known brands
such as M&M’s and Hershey’s. Candy House is stocked with a cotton candy cookie, popcorn balls,
gummy bears and chewing gum, this sweet store allows the customers to select items piece by piece
and put them in small paper bags or in a jar, the customer may buy the jar near in the cashier area,
with an affordable price, The Candy House is a two-level store which is divided into several
sections, including stations for design-your-own lollipops or marshmallows and a French patisserie
for parents—or kids—with a more sophisticated palate. Visitors can watch the artisans making the
company’s Murano-glass-like hard candies though the windows that separate the kitchen from the
retail space.
Snack n' Such is a small business offering different kinds of snacks and beverages. It is a
small store and it is located at BF Homes Parañaque City. It is run by Ms. Jhoanna Arias the
manager of the business and her assistant Mr. Carlo Santos. It covers up to 1,500 square meters
which is not that big. Its goal is to satisfy the customers by selling different delicious foods. This
business is a starting business that will soon be upgraded and will also have different stores from
The owner of Candy House and Snack N’ Such decided to merge their business for the
upcoming event, the stores will be having a soft opening, a soft opening is also a great opportunity
to network with local businesses and form strategic partnerships. Potential customers are not the
only people we want to attract. Soft openings are the perfect opportunity to build relationships with
local business people, press and local politicians. Not only do we get started on the business, but
we can build strategic relationships, in this event there will be a guests that ranges of 50-100
persons, the event will be having a cutting of ribbons and a blessing ceremonies, after that first part
of the event, the stores will be having a short introduction about their business or product that they
will sale in the event, and to orient our customer for what they can be expect in the product of the
company, how to make the products and what ingredients is used to make it clean and delicious,
the two companies surely that the customers will never doubt to buy some products in the store.
The store will also show off the menus to the customer for them will have an idea of what
they can buy in the store, the store will be having a free taste if they are not familiar in some of the
products, the candy house and snack n’ such decide to give a name to their business as a one
company. That will be Sweet Tooth. Because the products are made of sweets. And the company
wants to see their customer smiling as they enjoying eating the sweet foods that the company made
it. The store will maintain the cleanliness of their place for their happy customers and to organize
the said event. The store will try their best to achieve the target goal for their company, and try to
sell their products as soon as they can. The store will be having a victory party if the selling day
Since we opened our store, we decide that we should be have a responsibility in every position
what we will be. We all agreed that we will be the one who going to make this even successfully and clean,
Ms. Lenore O, Quiaoit will be the General Manager. As general manager she is an executive who has
overall responsibility for managing both the revenue and cost elements of a company's income statement,
known as profit & loss (P&L) responsibility. A general manager usually oversees most or all of the firm's
marketing and sales functions as well as the day-to-day operations of the business. then Ms. Danica G,
Balanag will be the Operations Manager. Her job is to make sure an organization is running as well as it
possibly can, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of customers and clients.
and Ms. Jhoanna Arias will be the Financial Manager. She will be responsible for the financial health of
an organization. She will produce financial reports, direct investment activities, and develop strategies and
plans for the long-term financial goals of their organization., Mr. Carlo Dominic Santos will be the Food
and Services Manager, He will be responsible for the daily operation of restaurants and other establishments
that prepare and serve food and beverages, Ms. Lea Matis will be the Kitchen Manager. As a Kitchen
Manager, she will be responsible for the overall operations for the back of house and kitchen area of a
restaurant. She will hire staff, purchase food and stock, and make sure everyone is trained on proper food
preparation and kitchen safety techniques. In addition, kitchen manager ensures that the companies’
standards are upheld: the food looks good and is cooked properly, the proportions are correct, and it is
cooked and served quickly. Kitchen managers also make sure that the kitchen is properly cleaned on a
regular schedule, food is disposed of properly and the kitchen meets all sanitary standards.

event. Each day there will be some different activities to do in the shop. The store made a Gantt chart which
is one of the most popular scheduling tools in project management. It’s a horizontal bar chart that shows
progress on a project schedule. In the first day of the business, they develop their project proposal for the
approved their administration. Once approved they will recruit a team that in needed for the shop and be
responsible in organizing the shop and fixing the price of sales product for the upcoming event after that
there will be a soft opening of their business or store. They will start promoting their business, In the said
event and to maintain the secure and cleanliness of their place in the event and also to secure their funds or
the profits that they gained, and lastly the team will do a swot and pest to know their strategy that they need
For the materials needed for making the promotion or advertising materials the amount of
Php 150.00 to Php 200.00 will be the allotted money for buying the materials that we need.
For the foods and beverages, The Candy House’ budget is Php 1,000 for all the ingredients
and plastic bag and jar will be also included in the budget. The Snack N’ Such’s budget is
also Php 1,000 and it will be the allotted money for buying all the ingredients needed in

The candy house and Snack N’ Such will be having their soft opening of their own
business, the two stores decided to merged their business it because the characteristic of their
product is about sweets, therefore, they became one company, the store will sale some snacks,
chocolates and of course candies, these two company only have one goal for their customer “Eat
Happy” that is in their slogan, they want to make people happy as they enjoying eating sweets.
They can eat anywhere because the customer will have a small paper bag or a jar full of sweets that
they picked in the store. The store will be providing some flyers to distribute to their customers or
outside of the shop, and also an invitation to a warm welcome to the new customers. The owners
decided to have a role in the shop, each of them has a responsibility and to maintain the organize
of the shop. And in the part of financial plan, they have been estimated their budget to Php 1500.00
including the cost of flyers and invitation and also the expense for the ingredients that will use to
make a lots of sweet foods. The company made a project schedule that can help them to manage
