LESSON STAGE: new continuation revision repetition

PRIOR KNOWLEDGE/ENTRY LEVEL OF LEARNERS: Learners knows the units of time from grade 4.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE(S): Learners will measure and record the period of time for various events to
happen.
Learners will estimate the time it takes for certain events.

2. BASIC COMPETENCY (IES): Learners will be able to use watches to measure and record lengths of time
for various events to happen (record lengths of time, e.g. 2 hours and 20 minutes as 2 h 20 min)
3. LESSON OBJECTIVE(S): By the end of the lesson learners should be able to measure, record the period
of time for various events to happen and estimate the time it takes for certain events.

7. THE LESSON PHASES

INTRODUCTION: Arouse awareness and interest; connect to previous
