8. 8. Insights: We future teachers to be, plays an important role to our students, the movie
(Every Child is Special) serve as an eye- opener for me. The kind of relationship we
established to our students affects them on what they will become. We teachers must have
patience, love, care, kindness and must aware of their intellectual, physical, and emotional
condition, because without this, they may feel being unwanted and unworthy that will lead to
their failures.
9. 9. We teachers must have a character that shows not only effective, efficient but also great
teacher that has a good qualities and teacher that does not only teach but inspires as well. A
teacher that has a strong potential to teach and to help students excel. A teacher that uses
positive approaches and deal the student’s concerns. This movie helps me to understand the
uniqueness of everyone, it is our task teachers on how to deal learners with different kinds of
intelligence.
10. 10. Teachers should help a child in every way they can. We should look into child’s
potentials as a learner and what motivates a child and what does not. Sometimes, we are
blinded by our strict rules in attaining academic requirements, that we fail to see the worth of
a person. We teachers to be must have a strong desire to make difference in the lives of our
students.

CONTENT:

The story is about an 8-year-old boy named Ishaan who cannot cope with the academic demands in
school. “The letters are dancing!” he once complained when he was asked to read. Infuriated, the
teacher threw him out of the class and the students who passed by the hall mocked him for being
punished. Moreover, Ishaan reversed letters when he wrote and demonstrated a poor understanding of
mathematical concepts. He was at the risk of repeating a grade level again because of his poor scholastic
performance.

Ishaan began to evade homework and cut classes because of his discouragement over his failings. When
his teachers advised his parents to avail of special education services, his family decided to send him to a
boarding school instead in the hopes that the highly structured environment will straighten out his
“behavioral problems”.
Ishaan continued struggling with the same problems in his new school. When he was finally on the brink
of suicide, his art teacher Ram Nikumbh discovered that he had dyslexia and consequently turned his life
around.
