2) Create a presentation to share with the class. Include the following information:
a. Artist’s name, birthdate, country of origin
b. What themes (big topics) does this artist work with?
c. What subjects does this artist use to convey the themes?
d. What materials and processes do they use?
e. What are the main elements and principles of art emphasized in the work?
f. What influences this artist’s work?
g. Is there any evidence of research? If so, explain.
h. How does this artist use practice, experimentation and/or revision?
i. What struggles or roadblocks do they encounter in their processes?
j. What questions do you think this artist is trying to answer with their work?

3) Include 3-4 images of this artist’s work that represent b-e.

4) How could you incorporate this artist’s work into what you are doing (inspired by, not
copying)? Be specific and include a sketch of your idea.

Assessment During Learning, 100 points

2 = 10 points (1 point each question)
3 = 5 points
4 = 10 points (5 = idea, 5 = sketch)

You can create a powerpoint for everything or have the answers to 2 and 4 written and just
show images of the artist’s work during your presentation. If you don’t want to share your
sketch with the class, you don’t have to—you can just share your idea with class and share your
sketch with me.
