with effect from 22 September ‐ 2019 to continue.
Role & Responsibility
Overall responsibility for pipeline activity as per Scope of the project. Review the resources
required for the activity and coordinate with the PM. Ensure proper indents of
consumables and Supplier’s materials do necessary follow‐up with Procurement
Department through PM. Review the performance of the work, on daily basis with site
team, and ensure that actions are taken to maintain the Construction Schedule as per
agreed plan. Monitor and ensure adequate resources (manpower, equipment, tools and
tackles, etc.) are available as per Project Execution Plan and ensure that necessary
mobilization arrangement is made through PM. Ensure that adequate personnel protective
equipment’s are provided as per trade, properly utilized and the morale of the personnel
are maintained by provision of adequate health, safety and welfare conditions.
Preparing, reviewing of Quality Manuals, Project Quality Plans, Procedures, Work
Instructions, Safety & Health Manuals for projects in accordance with ISO 9001:2000
standards, International Codes, and compliance to client specifications and contract
requirements. Conduct audits/surveillances on mechanical activity in compliance to
contract, Project Quality Plan, Project Engineering Procedures/Manuals and Project Work
Instructions. Witness destructive and non‐destructive activities (Inspection & Test Plan)
Qualify, witness, monitor welding processes, welders and welding operators.
Perform and verify process system checks on prior and post ‐ Hydro/Pressure test.
Witness and verify coating/painting activities ‐ Qualification test, wet/dry film checks,
Surface roughness, peel test, Coating thickness and application process.
Witness and verify calibration of instruments, measuring and testing equipment. Witnessed
Destructive and Non‐Destructive Testing for PQT, WQT, EQT and production weld joints.
Inspection of incoming materials as per client requirements and approved procedure.
Review of Alignment sheet, Isometric and P & I drawings for proper fabrication of pipeline
and piping weld joints. Monitoring all QC activities for day‐to‐day compliance of quality
requirements. Training to all welders, grinders and QC engineers to minimize percentage of
repair and get maximum productivity, maintaining quality and safety. Review of
Radiographic films. Immediate coordination with site QC and welders for any types of
defects introducing into weld metals to control the repair rate.

Review of Welders ID cards, PQR, EQR, all reports generated at site‐by‐site personnel.
Kick off meeting with sub‐contractor prior to start the activity in order to get knowledge for
their resources and documents pertaining to the equipment, man power, to be utilized at
site for providing maximum production in short duration by maintain quality and zero
hazards. Verify string of pipelines as per alignment sheets.
Raising NCR for any non‐conformity reports and closing the NCR raised by client. Reviewing
monthly quality reports and reconciliation of electrodes used at site in every month.
Witnessing for Lowering, duct lying, OFC blowing, Back‐filling, Hydro test etc.

1) Worked with M/S KPTL from November 2018 to 18 September 2019 as a Sr. QA/QC
Manager (NDT L‐III) at BAPL/ MBPL Project, in Bokaro Angul Pipeline project & Mehsana‐
Bathinda pipeline project.
2) Worked with M/S Consolidated Contracting Company from November 2016 to May 2018 as
a Sr. QA/QC Engineer (NDT L‐III) at IGD‐E project, Phase‐1, package‐3, Habshan‐5 in Abu
Dhabi, UAE under witnessing of TR/GASCO.
3) Worked with M/S Dodsal Engineering & Construction Pte. Ltd. As a Sr. QA/QC Engineer
(Welding/NDT L‐III) under witnessing of ADCO from 1 May 2015 to 20 June 2016 at Abu
Dhabi in UAE.

o Witnessed and validate over 50 demonstrations with RT on defective weld blocks by
using PAUT/TOFD/AUT equipment in various projects from 4” pipe diameter to 48” pipe
diameter and wall thickness 6 mm to 53 mm.
o Implement NDT procedures as laid out in Technical Procedure Manual and industry

o Providing technical leadership to NDT/welding/Joint coating operations, including
preparation and review of NDT procedures, WPS and reports.

o Arrange external NDE agency for specific jobs on need basis
