Ref :- Letter No.GS3 - 2400/2013 dated: 22/07/2014 of The Secretary to

Governor, Kerala Raj Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram.

It is hereby notified that vide the reference cited, The Chancellor, Mahatma
Gandhi University has nominated the members of 13 Post Graduate Boards of Studies in the
Departments of the University with a direction to the Vice-Chancellor (i/c) / Syndicate to
nominate the Chairpersons of the Boards of Studies as per the relevant Act and Statutes in force.

The Vice Chancellor exercising power under section 10(17) of Chapter 3 of the
Mahatma Gandhi University Act, 1985 has accorded sanction to appoint members to these Boards
as per the nominations made by the Chancellor, in compliance with Section 23 (XVI) of the
Mahatma Gandhi University Act, 1985 and also nominated the Chairpersons of the Boards as
directed by the Chancellor in accordance with section 28( IA ) (a) of the Act. The list of
members and chairpersons of the respective Boards of Studies in the Departments of the
University is appended herewith.
