Data Sheet (25 pts)
• Group Data Sheet and Calculations
– Each group will provide their own group data sheet.
– A separate sheet will be used for your group
calculations where you will write your complete
and orderly solutions for all trials and all tables
– This will be checked before you are allowed to write
on your individual data sheets
• Accomplished individual data sheets will be graded on
the day of experiment
• 1 point will be deducted to your data sheet for every
2% of your maximum % error (or % difference).

Answer to Guide Questions (30 points)

the teacher.
• Answer them in your own words.
• Copying your classmate’s answers will merit zero
for each section for both of you.

Excuse Absences
• Make-Up experiments and quizzes can be done if you
have a valid excuse with PROPER excuse documents.
• For official school activities
– Originally signed excuse letters from professors
– Proper advise before the activity
• For medical reasons
– Original medical certificate (MC)
– Note from school medical center can be used
– If MC is not available, proper excuse letter duly signed by
parent/guardian must be provided showing reason of absence.
Show copy valid ID of parent/guardian. Contact number of
parent/guardian must be provided.
• For other valid reasons,
– Provide applicable excuse letter from parent/guardian as stated
above.

Other Course Policies
• Attendance – According to CHED policy, total
number of absences by the students should not be
more than 20% of the total number of meetings.
– Students incurring more than 9 hours of unexcused
absences automatically gets a failing grade regardless of
class standing.

• Language of Instruction – Lectures, discussion, and
documentation will be in English.

Other Course Policies (cont.)
Honor, Dress and Grooming Codes
• All of us have been instructed on the Dress and
Grooming Codes of the Institute.
• For this course the Honor Code is that there will be
no plagiarizing on written work and no cheating on
exams.
• If a student is caught cheating on an exam, he or she
will be given zero mark for the exam.
• If a student is caught cheating twice, the student will
be referred to the Prefect of Student Affairs and be
given a failing grade.

• Consultation Schedule – Consultation schedules with
the Professor are posted outside the Physics Faculty
room

• Aside from academic deficiency, other grounds for a


failing grade are:
• Cheating during examinations
• More than 20 % absences of the total number of
meetings in a quarterm
• Failure to take the final examination with no valid
reason

Final Personal Notes
• Use of mobile phones or any similar devices
during discussions and experiments is
PROHIBITED!
• NO removal examinations.
• NO special projects.
• One-time, one-hour verification MIGHT be
scheduled after the final examination.
• You can ONLY message me online through
Blackboard or E-mail.
• The use of OT is FORBIDDEN!
• I will give everyone a 15-minute grace period.
