1. TITLE: Bioremediation of Sewage water

2. Thesis Statement:

The population in the world has increased in recent decades, but also pollution with
wastewater; And many people in different parts of the world get sick because they
drink contaminated water. It is very important to address this problem with
biological methods and to help the environment. In reality, many water sources do
not receive adequate treatment and water is less every day. Bioremediation uses
living organisms such as algae, bacteria and fungi to restore contaminated
environments. These microorganisms help reduce biological contamination in
water; I think it's a good choice to deal with pollution. This type of initiative provides
an avenue for environmentally and economically sustainable treatment methods.
While various methods of bioremediation are currently being used for the treatment
of industrial wastewater in sewage treatment plants and effluent treatment plants,
these methods are very unique and rely on costly chemicals and heavy energy
inputs. It emphasizes the sustainable treatment of wastewater throughout the
world.

Industries are keen to start a method that can be cheaper and can provide a long-
term sustainable solution for wastewater treatment, and bioremediation is not over-
the-top, but it is actually a bit slow. Wastewater treatment and bioremediation is not
an effective costly process, but it takes a lot of time and planning necessary for a
successful treatment.

Currently there are modern wastewater treatment plants, highly technical,

mechanized and expensive to build and maintain; But they use many chemicals. In
most of the underdeveloped countries of the world, optional methods of treatment
of waste water are required. Wastewater stabilization ponds, lagoons, can provide
a suitable solution for the treatment of wastewater in developing countries and rural
areas and bioremediation is an ecological way to try to reduce pollution.

Usually, algae are used for the bioremediation and wastewater process and for
wastewater treatment. Algae biomass can be processed biologically or chemically
to produce high-value products such as bioacetone, biodiesel, bio-methane and
bio-butanol. Microalgae acting as feedstock can also provide increased densities of
carbohydrates, triacylglycerides and fatty acids that can be used to produce
biodiesel and biofuels. In conclusion, algae are an excellent way to recover
contaminated environments and we can reap additional benefits with some algal
byproducts.
