 Write a character sketch of an internationally acclaimed Filipino.

The Learner demonstrates understanding of contemporary Philippine literature as a
means of responding to the demands of the global village; appropriate and polite oral
language, stance, and behavior of Catbaloganons in an international arena.

B. Performance Standard:
The learner transfers learning by making a character sketch.

Philippine Literature in English in the global village.

1. The class will be grouped into 5. They must categorize the icons according to
their field and contribution to the world.
2. Students will present the attributes that made the icon internationally acclaimed
ANALYSIS

1. Elucidate the characteristics of the icon that identifies/describes him as an icon


2. Student will give his/her insight regarding the contributions of each icon.

ABSTRACTION

1. Students will be given an example of character sketch and discuss the elements
/points used by the author.
2. Students will capitalize the ideas presents in the example given.

APPLICATION

1. The students will list down other internationally acclaimed Filipino and their
identity.

GENERALIZATION:

What are the points/elements in writing a character sketch?

EVALUATION

The students will make a character sketch of Michael Cinco as internationally


acclaimed Catbaloganon.

V. Remarks

The class actively participated in the discussion since the lesson is relatable and they find it
easy to ponder and think because all of them know the different icons shown in the
discussion.

VI. Reflection

Letting students do activities that require them to share their personal insights and
knowledge about the topic allowed them to be engaged in the learning process.

literary genre used.

The learner transfers learning by writing a specific myth in their own community
