Work Immersion will help develop among the learner's life and career skills,
and will prepare them to make decisions on postsecondary education or
employment. Through partnership building, DepEd hopes that the Partner
Institutions will provide learners with work immersion opportunities,
workplace or hands-on experience, and additional learning resources. It
aims to make the learners:
By the time learners reach Senior High School, they would have already
acquired almost all the competencies and skills that would prepare them for
the curriculum exits (higher entrepreneurship). Work Immersion provides
them with an avenue to test themselves apply their previous training but
are also able to experience the social interactions in a work environment.
Their experiences during work immersion will develop many skills and
values that would help them in their transition from high school to real life.

History of the school
Kalayaan National High School started when Mrs.Esmelita P. Ulangca,
the principal of Bangong Silang High School, felt an ergent need of
annex school in order to accommodate the heavy influx of enrolment of
students who were already spilling in the classroom and many were
being refused due to overcrowded class size. In view of this situatuon,
he made a request to Congresswoman Aurora "Nene" Henson for an
annex school and later endorsed the request to Congressman Roberto
Guanzon jr. Who worked out the feasibility of this plan to Congress.
In1996, the construction of two ( 2 ) three-store building with 9

residents of Phase 10 were transferred to the new site. Along with
them were eight ( 8 ) teachers. In this, Kalayaan National High School

learnings I have learned so much in
this, because it helps me become a
good worker, and teach me how to be
patients especially when working and
some of them test our attitude, and
How to manage your time,But i am
still greatful to God because He help
us to overcome all the struggles and
trials in our duty.

As a student I encounter a different
problems from being a true worker .
First is adjusting to the surroundings
how to move and what should I do as
a worker , and deal with the other
people as my co-worker. Sometimes
having a same schedule from school
so that we are confused where we
shall go with.

I suggest that that they need to put
an aircon to the registrar because of
the heavy dust is there and some of
the teachers are having a sickness
because of it and they can not take
the dust anymore so that they need
to wear a face mask just to avoid
enhaling the dust.
