WREP (AZERBAIJAN) CRUDE OIL

FEBRUARY 2005 SAMPLE

D Bond

ABSTRACT

WREP is a low acidity, low sulphur, medium density crude oil with low vanadium content, low nickel content and a
low pour point.

Extra information: 2 x 11Ltrs can received.

Other points worthy of note are as follows:

o Possibly suitable for low sulphur fuel production

o The sulphur recovery from the distillation was 100% of the crude value i.e. 0.15 %wt

o Kerosene (149-232) density, sulphur and freeze point fits specification for Jet A1

o Gasoil / diesel (232-342) density and cetane index indicate suitability for gas oil although desulphurisation may
be necessary for low sulphur products

o Vacuum gasoil (369-550) light, low sulphur with low carbon residue and low basic nitrogen indicating good FCC
feed.

o Dewaxed oil indicates good lube oil potential

o Atmospheric residue (>369) medium density, low sulphur, low nickel, low vanadium and low carbon residue
indicating good FCC feed.

o Vacuum residue (>509, >550, >585) is a light, low sulphur, low nickel and vanadium residue suitable for most
fuel oil grades.

products. For results which are significantly higher or lower the test method should be consulted for a more accurate
statement of precision. A dash indicates that a precision statement has not yet been established or is not relevant.
