Opportunities
1. Increasing demand for packaged food products- ​More people are residing
to urban places so food delivering is popular in that kind of area. Other takes order at
the fast food chains and have it as their packed lunch.
2. Growing number of people who uses social media and internet-​People
nowadays loves to scroll on their phones and use their social media accounts to gather
information. Mang inasal use social media/internet to provide more advertisement
with influential personalities to encourage the consumer.
3. Trending chicken barbecue restaurant industry-​Filipinos' love for food
often results in producing a unique food taste which leaves a trademark​ ​.​Indeed, at
Mang Inasal, Filipinos can delight in a wide array of great-tasting traditional food.
4. More Filipinos tend to eat out than to cook at home- ​Other prefer to eat
outside than to cook at their houses for it is convenient for them. Many families
nowadays tend to celebrate outside or at the restaurants than celebrating at home for it
is not time consuming and no preparation needed.
5. Technological advancement- ​We live in a world where technology is
evolving and advancing faster. Even the businesses are being challenge to modernize
and reimagine how they stay trend when it comes to their business.

Threats
1. Large number of direct and indirect competitors- ​Philippines is one of the
most populous countries and more businesses are being built. There are many food
business are being establish both local and international, same industry and not.
2. Scarcity of rice that may lead to inflation in price- ​Mang inasal offer
unlimited rice to their customer. They must buy/stack more than what other industry
must buy/stack and it can result to shortage and push prices to increase.
3. Filipinos are shifting for a healthier lifestyle- ​Healthy lifestyle is one which
helps to improve people's health and lowers the risk of being seriously ill.​Excessive
rice consumption can be unhealthy so filipinos tries to lessen their rice consumption.
4. Increasing number of foreign companies entering fast food market-
Alongside this growth of local food concepts also comes the arrival of numerous
foreign food brands. Some countries like South Korea, Japan, china and United States
promote food brands which have set their sights on the Philippines. Through these,
these countries can also have potential franchisees, which will be their partners in
setting up the food business in the country.
5. Health related risk of poultry meats such as Bird flu and etc.- ​This health
related risk of poultry can affect the sale of many food industry especially their
buyers. Mang inasal as an example, they were affected by the bird flu because their
number 1 ingredient is chicken.
