INTRODUCTION:
Gender Equality define as the state of having the same rights, status, and
opportunities as others, regardless of one's gender. Gender equality is achieved when
women and men enjoy the same rights and opportunities across all sectors of society,
including economic participation and decision-making, and when the different behaviours,
aspirations and needs of women and men are equally valued and favoured.

BODY:
September 5, 2019, we conducted the survey entitled "GENDER EQUALITY" in
(MANDAUE CITY PLAZA, CEBU) we have used a questionnaire as a survey instrument.
To know the opinion of the people about gender equality.

RESPONDENTS: MALE: 5
FEMALE: 5
TOTAL: 10

The informations were gathered by using a questionnaire that was given to a total of 10
respondents (5 females, 5 males) at Mandaue City Plaza, Cebu.
DATA CALCULATIONS
YES= 73----------- 73/100= 0.73 x 100= 73%
NO= 27------------- 27/100= 0.27 x 100= 27%

CONCLUSION:
According to the data gathered 8 out of 10 respondents agreed more than 70% to
the questions or out of 100 questions in total, 73 was answered yes. Therefore, people
are aware and wanted to be equal on both gender.

RECOMMENDATION:
Our group would like to suggest a solution regarding the issue of Gender
Equality. We should strengthen our advocacy towards this issue. Give priorities to the
women in terms of having an opportunity in any field we would like to engage and
deserve human rights. Discourage discrimination and promote safe spaces for all faces.
Women have also rights to live their life to the fullest without being conscious of her
surroundings. Continue programs that promote Gender Equality. We should accept the
fact woman is also part of our society. Treat woman as equal as men. We need to attain
the equality we always wanted. We always rant our problems with the issue of gender
equality but we don’t put it in action. We can’t avoid that inequality is still existing and
happening even though we implemented solutions to change the perspective of
everyone they still tend to disrespect and degrade women. Whoever we are we all
deserve equality. Although life is unfair we need to treat others fairly. Gender Equality is
a serious issue in today’s society that need a lot of attention.
