Year 2018
This year, 2018 is Wu Xu (戊戌) Dog Year. The Dog year starts on 4th February 2018 at 05:28.
However, for Qi Men Dun Jia yearly prediction, we will be using the date and time of Chinese New
Year Eve to plot the chart and perform the analysis. This because every Chinese will be celebrating
the Chinese New Year, and the human Qi during this time will be strong . This is in line with the
Heaven, Earth and Human concept (天时, 地利, 人和).
2017 Prediction
As predicted last year, we will see some improvements as the water catchment level will slowly

improvement in California’s water catchment.
In addition, it was predicted that those countries that are prone to typhoon would be hit badly. In
2017, we see an increase in typhoon/hurricane incidents in those countries. We have seen an
increase in typhoon/hurricane incidents in both USA as well as in Asia.
In addition, as predicted, there is a reduce in the number of earthquakes in 2017. As of September,

there is a total of 7,545 earthquakes as compared to 14,420 in 2016. Although there are 3 more
months to go for 2017, but by comparing the numbers, it is not possible to double the number of
earthquakes within 3 months.

The Chinese New Year Eve chart as follow:
