ACTIVITIES: I. PRE-LESSON
1. Pupils are shown a short clip about a grandmother (Robot And Grandma).
2. Pupils are asked to describe their feelings to their shoulder partner.
3. Teacher shares his/her feelings about the clip with the class and asks if they feel the same. (Teacher
models suggested sentence pattern and introduces a list of adjectives)
II. WHILE ONE (Gallery Walk)
1. Teacher pastes some photos of sad and lonely grandmother on the board.
2. Pupils are asked to paste their loved one’s photos on the wall.
3. Pupils are given time to look at the photos pasted on the board and wall.
4. At the same time, pupils are asked to write their feelings on post-it-notes and paste it on the wall.

5. Pupils are asked about their feelings about each photo (Quick Scan). FA
WHILE TWO
1. Teacher recaps the previous lesson based on the poem.
2. Pupils are assigned into pairs.
3. Pupil A is asked to refer to Stanza One while Pupil B is asked to refer to Stanza Two.
4. Pupils are asked to write about their feelings on a piece of paper (Circle Map) and share it with their
friends. (LO)
5. Teacher evaluates them by choosing some partners randomly. (Lollipop Stick) (FA)
III. POST-LESSON
1. Pupils are asked to write an appreciation card for their loved one as an enrichment activity.
