Criteria
The eligibility criteria for Freshers to attend the Hexaware Recruitment Process is as
follows:
• MCA, BE/ B.Tech ( CS/ IT/ ECE)

• 10th and 12th percentage – 60% and above
• CGPA in pursuing a degree – 60% and above
• No backlogs while attending the selection process.
Hexaware Recruitment Process and Test
Pattern
The Hexaware selection process is divided into five sections.
1. Online Assessment
It consists of:
• Aptitude Test – The Aptitude test in Hexaware Recruitment Process includes

questions from Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability. The
questions in this section are moderate to difficult level questions. It consists of 60
questions which are to be answered in 60 minutes.
• Domain Test – The domain test in Hexaware Recruitment Process includes questions
as per the engineering curriculum. There will be 40 questions which are to be answered
in 40 minutes. The questions will be different for both IT and Non-IT candidates.
Computer Science Domain Test: It is for candidates from IT background ( CS, IT,
MCA) the questions will be CS related questions.
Electronics Engineering Domain Test: It is for E&C candidates. For candidates

from a Non-IT background, they will have questions from all basic papers in the first
year. That is, Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electronics and Electrical, Physics and
Engineering Maths.

2. Group Discussion
It is included in the Hexaware Recruitment Process to test the communication skill of

A sheet was given, you should write a essay about 1 page on your own topic. This is to
check your english proficiency.
Hexaware written test :

Numerical aptitude.. prepare from R.S.Aggarwal, English part consisted of
comprehension, synonyms, antonyms, grammar exercises, technical multiple choice
questions. (sectional cut off) and finally some aptitude questions without choice (5 to 6
questions)
Hexaware Group Discussion:

Either they give a topic or you'll be asked to select a topic and should discuss with your
group. The topic given for my group was "Is china a threat to India?"
They expect simple English, pronunciation, confidence level, involvement.
Hexaware Technical Interview :

Questions were asked from the papers I had presented in the earlier semesters, from my
area of interest computer networks such as configuration of
LAN,Router,subnet,switch,layers etc..
Questions will be asked from your answers.. so be cautious in uttering a word.. when
you tell a answer that includes a word"layer" question will be asked about layers..
This round went for about half an hour.. Questions were asked from the resume only..
be confident to clear this round. if you don't know any answer just tell " mam/sir i would
like to know the answer"
Hexaware HR interview:
It was quite different.. He asked me the questions I prepared for the HR interview..
I told only the questions.. then later he asked some questions about the opinion I had
about Hexaware.. Talked high about the company..
2 simple technical questions were asked.. what is cache memory, what is object..
salary 2.5 l.pa 3 years bond, 1 lakh deposit which would be refundable after 3 years.

The pattern for this company is 1) Written test
It consists of 90 questions in 90 mins. 25 from english

5 from general knowledge (it is easy)
20 from aptitude
40 from technical Question paper is different for IT and non-IT. Cut-off is very less.
2) GD
They asked students to select a topic and conducted discussion based on that.
3) Technical round
Questions asked from areas of our interest and C language.
4) HR
It is general. no need of preparation

Hi All,
I attended the Hexaware off-campus drive in Sairam engg college Chennai in
July. The selection procedure consists of three rounds. 1st round aptitude: Seperate
papers for IT and non IT. It has technical, verbal and analytical and 5 easy G.K quest.
Totally 100 questions, easy to clear since the cut-off is around 30 only. 2nd round GD:
Simple just open your mouth and talk something related to topic. 3rd round: Technical
cum HR I'm ECe student so many questions were from my stream and mainly on your
area of interest. Just be clear on what your speaking. don't give fake answer. Total
appeared: Nearly 800 Total selected: 75. But there is a service agreement of 3 years
with 1 lakh deposit. 1st month basic training on all basic S/W subject. They will keep
nearly 7 test and there is also a comphrevsive exam at last. After FTP training they will
assign you in any tech like mainframe, Java, .net etc and they will give training for 15
days and again you will have tests. Compensation: 2 laks per Annum and during
training for 1st month only 5000 stipend.
HEXAWARE PAPER ON 11th DECEMBER AT CHENNAI

I got selected in hexaware technologies on dec 11th... Their selection procedure consists
of 3 rounds 1.Aptitude 2.GD 3.Technical and HR 1.Aptitude The Aptitude round
consisted of 100 questions and you are given 60 minutes time... The aptitude round
consisted 25 verbal q's, 25 Maths q's and 50 tecnical q's... Time will not be enough to
complete the paper start with verbal and move to technical and at last do the maths...
The cut off is only 30 so there will not be any problem in clearing it... But the paper will
be very difficult... The technical aptitude questions is different for IT and Non IT
stream... 60 attended the aptitude and 30 cleared it... 2.GD The GD is very simple...
You are given 2 minutes time to choose the topic of your own and then immediately
start the discussion... We were divided into group of 10... Choose simple topics... The
topics of our 3 groups were 1. arranged marriage vs love
marriage 2.Cell phone boon or bane 3.Co education good or
bad The important thing GD is dont fight like a debate... Be loud and clear... Dont ever
see the HR person sitting there... Discuss among your members... Dont switch from
advantage to disadvantage... Speak out valuable points... These are more than
important to clear the GD... Out of the 30 who cleared the aptitude 14 were selected
for the technical and HR round... 3.Technical and HRThis is the major round of
filtering... You should be very strong in technical... The resume should be perfect... They
find out many mistakes in it... My technical interview lasted for nearly 45 minutes...
there were two persons out of which only one asked me the questions... Some of the
questions were Marquee, vlink, alink in HTML... Some unix commands... Client server
tecnology... Wat is Web Client... Applet, AWT difference between them... Told me to
write Stack and Linked list program in C... Why is the #include used in c... Who founded
the internet and how was it founded... What is OS...Few HR questions and some more
tecnical questions... At last he wished me good luck... Out of the 14 who cleared the
aptitude only 2 were selected and to my surprise i was one among the two... I thank the
almighty for this... Be confident... Prepare more for technical... There is no need for
preparation for the other two rounds... This is enough to clear... I wish u all the best
