CPR E 185 – Intro to C, project-based examples from computer engineering, computer-based
projects. Projects included using the data from an accelerometer and microcontroller to process
information about a falling object and to create a game on a GUI using the controllers sticks as inputs.
CPR E 281 – Digital Logic and Circuit Design, Arithmetic circuits and finite state machines. Use of
programmable logic devices. Introduction to gates, registers, MUXs, and adders. Final project was to
create a four digit with a reset and would lock out after 4 incorrect attempts.
CPR E 288 – Embedded Systems Programming, Embedded C programming. Interrupt handling, timers,
scheduling, resource allocation. Utilized sensors on a robot to enable directed movement and return data
to a computer.
CPR E 381 – Computer Organization and Assembly Level Programming, Assembly level programming,
processor design, scalar pipelines, computer performance.
CS 106 – Web Design with HTML/CSS. Created a personal webpage and learned how to format and
included features like buttons, links, tables, audio, etc.
CS 227 – Intro to Java Programming, Introduction to object-oriented design, encapsulation, inheritance
and polymorphism. Programmed games like Flow and Snake while learning about how to use Java.
CS 228 – Java Data Systems and Structures, emphasis on data abstraction, inheritance and subtype
polymorphism. Searching and sorting algorithms. Constructed a malleable dictionary tree and used
various sorting methods.
CS 311 – Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Basic techniques for design and analysis of efficient
algorithms, dynamic programming and the greedy method. Created web crawler to search through
webpages to search for topics.
CS 309 – Software Development Practices, maintenance, cost and schedule estimation, metrics.
Programming projects. Developed a discussion-board app with Front/Backend communication through
WebSocket’s.
CPR E 308 – Operating Systems: Principles and Practices, file systems, I/O systems security, Linux-
based lab experiments. Explored memory management algorithms, scheduling, and the Linux Kernel.
EE 224 – Signals and Systems, LTI systems, impulse response and convolution.
Work Experience
WPG Americas Summer 2019
- Headquartered in Taiwan, WPG is the No.1 Global Semiconductor Distributor and provides
valuable creation and logistics solutions. I researched prospective companies to offer solutions and met
with customers to present options for parts after reviewing their technical parameters. I worked closely
with Federal Signal in designing the display layout for their police box product.
