Assessment for Task One


Each correct piece of information (typically one word or number) gets half a point, so there are 5 marks available for this task.

Assessment for Task Two


The maximum score of the second writing task is 15 points. Examiners work with a mark scheme, which focuses on Task achievement (max. 5
points), Grammatical range and accuracy (max. 5 points) and Lexical range and accuracy (max. 5 points).

Yesterday Tom had his breakfast. He then went for a walk with his dog and
some friends. After the walk they had a picnic. Everybody had a good day. In
the evening Tom was tired and went to bed.
