RESORT DOCTOR
Is in-charge of the daily operations of the Medical Clinic operating under Human
Resources Department. He/she shall be responsible to provide primary and
continuing medical care for all patients (team members and guests). Issuing Medical
certificates and referring patients to any higher medical institution in cases where
further observation and treatment is mandatory.

Responsibilities
• Strictly adheres to the Clinic schedules (Opens the Team Clinic &Opens the Guest Clinic)
• Visits the sick/ill Team Members & Doctor in their room/accommodation if required
• Reminding the Nurse to check the expiration dates and availability of common drugs given to the
Team Members
• Attending to all Team Members complaints by prescribing medicines and issuing sick leaves for
all Team Members and those who are not capable to work due to injuries.
• Referrals will be issued with the approval of the DOHR and are to be sent to Male’ hospital or
any higher medical facility for further medical investigation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1-2 years resort experience as a resort doctor
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the same role in the hospital setting
• Flexible in attending to emergency guests and team members requests on odd hours
• Attend to resort team members and guests efficiently, courteously and professional manner

• Proven success in a similar role and environment
• Empathy towards colleagues and customers
• Pride and attention to detail
• Polished personal presentation with warm, confident and hospitable personality.
