Sir/Madam:

The Philippine Association for the Career Advancement of Educators (PACAE), in


collaboration with the Asia-Pacific Center for Student Development, Inc., a partner of the
Department of Education, in the delivery of quality education to public and private schools in the
country by enhancing the knowledge and skills of students through seminars and trainings, will
conduct a National Seminar-Workshop on Leadership for Supreme Student Government
Officers, Organization/Class Officers of Secondary Schools from both Public and Private.

A search for talented participants entitled “Advisers and Student Leaders Got Talent
Part 3” will be conducted during the Leadership Training. Trophies and cash prizes will be
given to the winners and Certificate of Recognition will be given to the School Principal of the
winners. For the guidelines and mechanics of the contest, you may download them from our
website.
Registration fee and other expenses may be charged to SSG Funds/ PTA Funds/ School
MOOE and Division MOOE upon approval of concerned authorities.

“ADVISERS AND STUDENT LEADERS GOT TALENT – PART 3”

MECHANICS AND GUIDELINES OF THE CONTEST

1. “Advisers and Student Leaders Got Talent Part 3” is open to all participants.
2. To participate in this contest, interested participants must undergo audition. Auditions
will be held on the first day of the Leadership Training starting at 5:30pm-7:30 onwards
at the designated venue on a first-come first-served basis.
3. Presentation can be Duo (1 adviser and 1 student leader) or Group (one (1) or two (2)
advisers and maximum of 8 student leaders). Lip sync is not allowed.
4. The presentation/performance should not exceed seven (7) minutes, with two (2)
minutes allowed for set-up, if any.
5. Time deductions: Five (5) points for each thirty (30) seconds over seven (7) minutes.
6. Contestants must provide everything that they will need for their presentation. The
organizer will NOT provide anything (e.g. costume, CDs, USBs, musical instruments,
etc.).
7. A participant can only join in one performance.
8. As there is a need to adhere to Health & Safety Guidelines, participants in the
contest have to notify the organizer in advance if their performance will involve any
dangerous materials (e.g. pyrotechnics, open flames, etc.).
9. Profane or vulgar lyrics and inappropriate actions (contrary to accepted moral norms) in
any performance shall not be allowed.
10. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third placers.
11. The decisions of the judges are final.

Important Note: Every entry should prepare and submit a video presentation about the group
[how the group started or created, who inspire them to join, etc.] (minimum of 1 minute and
a maximum of 2 minutes) to be presented during the contest proper.

Criteria for Judging:

Talent: 40 points
Stage Appearance & Personality: 30 points
Creativity/Originality/Entertainment Value: 20 points
Audience Impact: 10 points

Total: 100 points
