Literature, most generically, is any body of written works. More

restrictively, literature refers to writing considered to be an
art form or any single writing deemed to have artistic or
intellectual value, often due to deploying language in ways that
differ from ordinary usage. There are 5 main types of literature
which is the poetry, prose, drama, non-fiction, and media. Poetry
is considered the oldest form of literature. While, Prose can be
defined as any kind of written text that isn’t poetry. Drama is
any text meant to be performed rather than read. Non-fiction can
be creative, such as the personal essay, or factual, such as the
scientific paper, and Media is the newest type of literature that
has been defined as a distinct genre.

1."childish" and "childlike." While the denotations for these two

words are essentially identical, the first has a more insulting
connotation while the latter reads as more whimsical and
positive.

2.The word “snake” simple denotes a reptile. But it has the

connotation of someone who can not be trusted, someone who
cheats, and/ or someone who will do harm to you if they can.

3.In American English both “kid” and “child” have the same
denotation, but “kid” has a much more playful and affectionate
connotation.
4.”outsourcing” denotes having a different firm do some of the
work that helps build or create the product that your firm makes.
But the connotation of this word is very negative. It has the
connotation of hiring cheap labor, usually in a foreign country,
and destroying American jobs.

5.“Bad” can mean something that’s not good, but among some people
“bad”

6.“Cheap” and “inexpensive” both denote not costly, but the

connotation of cheap suggest something is of poor quality whereas
expensive does not.

7.“horses” and “coursers” both denotes equinines, but coursers

have the suggestions of agile and dainty equinines

8.The dog “barked”, the connotation is neutral, but one says the
manager “barked” orders at his staff, the connotation is clearly
negative.

9.The word “brutal” its denotation is extremely cruel, while its

connotation is violent to the point of entertaining.

10.“Commitment” its denotation is it is a pledge to do, while its

denotation is emotional connection to another person.
How does literature provide pleasure in our life?

Literature teaches us how to live. Literature makes the reader

visit places, experience events, meet people, listen to them,
feel their joys and sufferings. Literature is important in
everyday life because it connects individuals with larger truths
and ideas in a society. Literature creates a way for people to
record their thoughts and experiences in a way that is accessible
to others, through fictionalized accounts of the experience.
Literature also helps people to see life from the perspective of
another. Identity-based literature teaches the reader what life
is like for others, helping them to be more understanding and
respectful of those around them. Literature is important because
of what we can learn from them. There are so many wonderful
characters and storylines. We can learn life lessons from books.
I have always enjoyed reading. You feel transported to the
stories found in books.

How does literature interpret and transform the world?

Literature is important in everyday life because it connects

individuals with larger truths and ideas in a society. Literature
creates a way for people to record their thoughts and experiences
in a way that is accessible to others, through fictionalized
accounts of the experience. For students, studying literature is
a critical component of education, as it teaches the students to
see themselves reflected in art. This allow people to learn about
life and truth. Literature also helps people to see life from the
perspective of another.

I trust God in my life

My life is wonderful because of God

With laughter and tears, some sad and funny

But storms and trials make it clear to me

In the end there’s my family for me

To guide and protect me when I was wrong

Life without God is nothing but sorrow

God’s has a plan, so trust him everyday

He always know the best for all of us

And the choice is ours to make, if we may

So trust in God, his love stays forever.
