Power Take-Off gear independent EK750F
The PTO EK750F is a gear-independent power take-off that can be activated via a separate clutch
even when the engine is running.
The PTO EK750F is a gear-independent power take-off equipped with a compressed air controlled disc
coupling, which enables activation of the power take-off even when the engine is running. The EK750F is
fitted on the clutch housing at "12 o'clock", direction of rotation is anticlockwise seen from the vehicle's
direction of travel. The EK750F has a flange connection the same as the EK740F, intended for shaft-driven
equipment. However, the clutch is located approx. 248 mm further back due to the amount of space that the
clutch unit takes.This power take-off is primarily intended for fire fighting trucks but it can also be used for
sludge suction trucks, cement mixers, cement pumps, etc.FunctionThe clutch unit is fitted with an adapter
plate on the PTO EK730P. A cover washer keeps the gear selector depressed and keeps the power take-
off constantly activated. The clutch unit is activated via a switch in the cab.Engagement is only possible
when:System pressure is above 7 bar. The vehicle is stationary. The engine speed is lower than 1000
rpm.Use of the 750F power take-off is described in the operator's manual.DataWeight: Approx. 23 kg Max.

Activation is not possible until the system pressure can ensure 7 bar. No logging of the number of
activations, active time and any errors. No activation acknowledgement (other than switch position).
