While kids are deciding to join a gang or not some of them have that mindset

when they are in class and thinking why do we have to go to school if im not getting paid to

wake up out of my sleep and the stuff I know in class won't have to know that stuff when I get

older. ​Gang members join a gang by either committing a crime or undergoing an

initiation procedure wherein they are beaten by fellow gang members to test their

courage and fighting ability. Their motivations for joining the gang are varied, but usually

fall within one of the following being part of a gang allows the gang member to achieve

a level of status he/she feels impossible outside the gang culture. Mostly teens decide

to join a gang is because half of them think that it's cool to be in one on what the other

teens already in the gang provide them and try to persuade them to be in the gang.

go over the limit and try to beat you until you're leaking a lot of blood, out or you will

have to commit a crime to join and half of the teens that decide to commit the crimes go

wrong it will lead to a 50% chance that when they are about to commit the crime

somebody will get hurt. And when I say somebody will get hurt some of the gang
members that are watching the crime will want the member that is about to join the gang

wants him or her to commit a horrible crime half of them will want to see some

excitement by watching that person suffer. The members in the gang are peer

pressuring that one person that commits the horrible crime not that they only ruined a

life but all their lives are turning upside down.When they commit the horrible crime they

will know that their lives are heading to jail or death, if they keep on committing these

terrible crimes there mindset will think as long as they dont get caught by the cops they

can keep behaving this way, some gang members don’t think outside of the box when it

comes to certain things and what the other gang members are capable of. Shootings

which is caused by gang violence and drive bys and an open area with innocent people

are getting harmed by risking their lives outside of their house can cause deaths and

lives are getting took just because of gang violence from behavior of people deciding

not to live a positive life. Drugs and guns can lead our society into a negative way but

not just those two it's more to it which are gangs because if we have gangs then we will

have those two which are drugs that are getting sold to people where, we lay our heads

at and outside of our homes where we have to walk outside of our homes and on school

grounds. Deaths also occur just because of drugs and most of the people that buy

drugs from gang related people also will increase in the drug rate.
