President
Mr. JESUS P. FRANCISCO is the President of MIESCOR. He joined the company as a
Management Trainee in 1971 and has held various positions prior to his assuming the
presidency in June 2001.

He is a Mechanical and an Electrical Engineering graduate of the University of the Philippines

(Diliman). He has a Master’s Degree (MBA) from the W. Sycip Graduate School of Business of
the Asian Institute of Management. He completed the International Senior Managers’
Program, an off-campus management program of Harvard Business School and the Strategic
Business Economics Program of the University of Asia and the Pacific.
He is also the Chairman of MIESCOR, Meralco Energy Inc., He He is also the Chairman of
MIESCOR, Meralco Energy Inc. He is also the Chairman of UP Engineering R&D Foundation,
Inc., and President of Meralco Millenium Foundation, Inc., Director of First Private Power
Corporation, Rockwell Land Corporation, General Electric Philippines Meter and Instrument
Co. Inc., Philippine Commercial Capital Inc., MMLDC Foundation Inc., President of Haribon
Foundation and Trustee of Preferred Energy, Inc.

General Managerr
Mr. LUCITO L. SANTOS is the General Manager of MIESCOR. Prior to being named as
President, he was Vice President of Meralco and Head of Corporate Logistics Office. He holds
a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology. He also serves
as President of Miescor Builders Inc., and Landbees Corp.
 RICKY
Director

Mr. RICARDO V. BUENCAMINO is Executive Vice President and heads Networks Office of
Meralco. He holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology
and a Master’s in Management from Asian Institute of Management. He is also Director of
the following companies: Meralco Energy, Inc., Asian Center of Energy Management Corp.,
General Electric Philippines Meter and Instrument Co., Inc. and trustee of CEPSI Philippines,
Inc. He also serves as Director of Miescor Builders Inc, Clark Electric Distribution Corporation,
Miescor USA and Landbees Corp.

RAFFY
Director

Mr. RAFAEL L. ANDRADA, the present Treasurer of Meralco, completed his B.S. Degree in
Commerce, Major in Management from De La Salle University. He is a member of the Board
of Directors of Rockwell Land Corp., First Private Power Corp., Bauang Private Power Corp.,
and other Meralco subsidiaries. He also served Gateway Business Park as Vice-President for
Finance and Operations and Benpres Holdings Corp as Vice-President for Finance.

JOBERT
Director
Mr. ROBERTO R. ALMAZORA is First Vice-President and Head of Customer Retail Services
for Meralco. Before assuming the position of Customer Retail Services Head in August 2003,
he was the Chief Information Officer, in-charge of Meralco's Information System, Information
Technology and Telecommunications group. He holds a Master’s in Business Management
from Asian Institute of Management and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University
of the Philippines, Diliman. He also sits in the board of several Meralco subsidiaries.

Director

Mr. RUSTICO C. DE BORJA, JR. currently Vice President and Head of Sub – Transmission
Services of Meralco, earned his B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Mapua Institute of
Technology. Mr. De Borja previously served as Head of Meralco Distribution Services. He has
a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Asian Institute of Management.

NICK
Director

Mr. MONICO V. JACOB holds a bachelor of laws from the Ateneo de Manila University and
Bachelors of Arts from Ateneno de Naga. He is at present the President and CEO of STI
Education Services Group; Chairman of CEO's Inc., a business and management consulting
firm ; Chairman of Grow Inc., a professional placement company; and Vice-Chairman of CBV
Asset Management Corp. He is also a partner in the law firm of Jacob and Jacob. His areas of
specialty are in energy, corporate law and corporate recovery and rehabilitation work. He is
also a member of the Board of Directors of Philsteel Corp, Steel Corp, Filipino Merchant
Insurance Corp, Jollibee Foods Inc., and I-Academy.

ROGER
Director
Mr. ROGER M. MURGA is a graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering from the University of
the Philippines (Diliman). He has more than thirty (30) years of experience in Engineering
and Construction as Engineer and Professional Manager.

He completed the International Senior Managers’ Program, an off-campus management

program of Harvard Business School and attended various management programs and
seminars in the Philippines and abroad.

He started as Production Manager in EEI Corporation and subsequently elected as President

and Chief Operating Officer and retired as Vice Chairman. He also became President and
Chief Executive Officer of National Power Corporation. Currently, he sits as an independent
director of MIESCOR and Chairman of Private Infra Development Corporation.

RUBEN
Director
Mr. RUBEN A. SAPITULA holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in
Management degree from the University of the East and a Master of Industrial Relations
from the School of Labor and Industrial Relations, University of the Philippines – Diliman (UP
– SOLAIR). He completed the Strategic Economics Program from the University of Asia and
the Pacific and earned a Diploma in Industrial Relations from UP – SOLAIR. He is the Vice
President and Head of Meralco Human Resources Administration. Before assuming the
position as Human Resources Head, Mr. Sapitula has more than 20 years of experience in
personnel management.

Currently, he sits as board trustee of the Meralco Millenium Foundation, Inc. and director of
MIESCOR and People Management Association of the Philippines. He became director and
treasurer of UP Industrial Relations Alumni Association and Chairman and CEO of Meralco
Employees Fund for Charity, Inc.

MIKE
Director
Mr. MIGUEL ERNESTO L. LOPEZ, currently Area Head of Meralco North Branches, earned
his bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from Menlo College, California and
then finished the Executive Development Program in Asian Institute of Management. Aside
from MIESCOR, he sits in the board of CIS Bayad Center, Inc., Lopez Inc., and Meralco
Millennium Foundation, Inc. Prior to his position, he has handled various significant positions
in Meralco as Marketing Head, in Maynilad Water Services, Inc. as Vice President and in
BayanTel as Assistant Vice President for Customer Service.

Corporate Secretary

Mr. ALFONSO Y. LACAP completed his bachelor of laws degree from Lyceum of the
Philippines. He is currently Assistant Vice-President and Head of General Legal of Meralco.
He also served as Director and Treasurer of Meralco Employees Savings and Loan
Association, Inc. (MESALA) and Corporate Secretary of Corporate Information Solutions, Inc.
