WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE?

In today’s hyper changing world, where more advance technologies are being used and
introduced now, we can access with so many ideas and knowledge. On the other hand, we are
also bombarded/filled with so many bad and fake news that we begin to question/ask what’s the
truth? Whom do we trust or believe.
Technologically advanced we get, spiritual principles still govern our universe. Yes, we
always search for the true meaning of life where only God can satisfy the deepest longings of our
life. Oftentimes we ask ourselves is God really exist? We’re like fish in the ocean that question
where is the ocean? You see everything we got hearing, eyesight, blood, muscles, bones and all
the rest that we see and feel in our body comes from God. You look around, the flowers, birds,
trees, fruits, sun, moon, stars, ocean and everything you see in nature cannot be created by men.
God give us conscience too to know what is right from wrong. It is through our conscience that
God speaks to us.
Sometimes we doubt because we have lack of knowledge with someone or something. We
believe what we only know. We know God by name but not by heart. It’s just like knowing
someone only by his/her name but we don’t know who really he/she is. We doubt because we put
our trust on something or someone that are not stable. We doubt because we believe in someone’s
idea’s or conclusion rather than on the word of God. It is written in Mathew 24:35 “Heaven and
earth will pass away but my words will remain”. We doubt because we haven’t yet tasted, seen,
and experienced the presence of God in our lives. It also written in Jeremiah 29:13 “If you seek
me with all your heart you will find me”. Are we seeking Him everyday of our lives? We doubt
because we want proof. God already revealed himself to us 2,000 years ago thru His son Jesus
Christ. He humbled himself and died for our salvation. He was arrested for you, mocked for you,
spot on for you, scourged for you, crowned with thorns for you, humiliated for you, crucified for
you, pierced for you, died for you. All because He loves you. “He took the fall and thought of
you above all” (from the song Above all.)
You still doubt? Well it’s okay to doubt to remind ourselves that we need to know more,
learn more, study more and experience more about God. Take a moment study more about the
lives of the saints, why they became saints? They live their lives filled with “love” because God
is love. See also the lives of atheist why they don’t believe in God? You will see the reason behind
that they are full of hurts and hatred in their lives. The devil will always attack us in our lowest
and weakest moment for us to blame and turn away from God. Sadly to realize that we believe
more in the lies of the devil than the truth about God.
God has given us the gift of “freewill”, one of the greatest gift to humanity. Our choices
define what we become. It’s our choice to live a life with much love or hatred. It’s our choice to
nurture our life or destroy it. It’s our choice who do we trust or believe.
One life is all we have. What will you do about it? Our life is a testimony of what/whom
do we believe?
