EXISTENTIALISM – it is a philosophy that emphasizes individual existence, freedom and choice.

PERENNIALISM – it is a philosophy that expresses ideas using Great books and History’s timeless
concepts

PSYCHOLOGY – is the science that deals with the study of human behavior and mental processes.

A question is a problem, from the root word “pros and ballos” which means THROWN AND BALL.

STORIES – is an imaginary or real people and events told for entertainment but with moral lesson in it.

EMBODIMENT – enables us to do and to experience all the things that make us human person.

SAYINGS – are philosophical inspired-thought.

MAN – is the ultimate criterion for the existence of the world. Man is the measure of all things.

SOREN KIERKEGAARD – is known as the Father of Existentialism.

PYTHAGORAS – is a greek mathematician and philosopher who coined the word “Philosophy”.

ZWAENEPOEL – defines phenomenology as a study of that which appears as meaningful to


consciousness in living experience by means of direct awareness.

SOCRATES – known as the greatest philosopher in the western civilization.

PLATO – the brightest student of Socrates.

ST. THOMAS AQUINAS – he was influenced by the philosophy of Aristotle.

ARISTOTLE – was the brightest student of Plato.

BODY AND SOUL – are the major components of a human person.

EPOCHE – literally defined as “Bracketing” all our natural attitudes of our object inquiry and it is known
as our first impression to a particular object.
PHENOMENOLOGY – refers to a persons’ perception of the meaning of an event as opposed to the event
as it exists outside of that person.

THEODICY – studies about proving GOD’s existence through the use of human reason.

METAPHYSICAL QUESTION – defines what you should do because you are effected by the situation.

NOESIS – awareness connotes this thing that manifest the object of our intention.

ALL THINGS – are the material object of philosophy.

HUMAN SOCIETY – is a group of people who share common lifestyle and organization.

TRANSCENDENCE – means going beyond to overcome and surpass what is limited by the used of human
intellect.

DEATH – is a separation of the body and soul.

TEMPATION – is everywhere that can lead us toward sex.

EXTERNAL SENSES – the cause of temptation.

LOVE – in philosophy it is acceptance of a certain thing or person.

DIVINE LOVE – is only applicable to GOD.

The nature of GOD is GOOD.

STONES AND WOOD – are the raw materials used by the hunting gathering society.

HAND AND MUSCLE – is for horticultural society,

MACHINES AND FUELS – used by industrial society to boost the production of goods.

SIMPLE HAND TOOLS LIKE WHEEL, WOOD DRAWN BY AN ANIMAL – is a tool used by agrarian society to
raise crops and to boost the lifestyle in agriculture.
