1.0 Brief Introduction:


Formal communication is important means of communication for professional and social life. Thus,
there is need to develop confidence for meetings, discussions, presentations and public speaking. In
this context, Delevering prepared speeches is an activity which provides platform to inculcate logical
thinking and to develop speaking skills. Delevering speeches encourages students formulate
grammatically correct sentence with relevant vocabulary to develope speeches and to face the
audience.
2.0 Aim of the Micro-Project:
This micro project aims at to collect information from various sources, organize as well as compile
the information as per need of project. The project also aims at developing language skills such as
listening, reading, speaking and writing through practice. The project aims to develop the basic
computing skills by searching, compiling, editing and drafting various things. The purpose of the
micro project is to develop overall communication as well as presentation skills.

1.0 Rationale:
1. Use the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing and speaking
2. Use capitalization, punctuation, and spelling when writing
3. Use knowledge of language and its conventions when writing, speaking, reading, or listening
4. Determine the meaning of unknown words based on grade 4 reading and content

2.0 Aim of Micro Project:

4.0 Literature Review:


1. Informative speech is a speech providing new information, new insights, or new ways of thinking about a topic. The
general purpose of an informative speech is to increase the audience’s understanding and awareness of a topic. 2.
Persuasive speech is a speech whose goal is to influence the attitudes, beliefs, values, or acts of others.
3. Special occasion speech, also called a ceremonial speech, is prepared for a specific occasion and for a purpose
dictated by that occasion.
