Comparative and Superlative

We use comparative adjectives to talk about similarities and differences between two people or things.
E.g. An apple is healthier than a muffin.
E.g. An apple is as good as a pear.

We use superlative adjectives to express the greatest degree of a quality.

E.g. This is the smallest apple I’ve ever seen.
