Introduction:

In the emerging global economy, e-commerce and e-business have increasingly

become a necessary component of business strategy and a strong catalyst for
economic development. E-commerce is not only a huge help for those big companies
but also for those people who are just starting up a business online. The term e-
commerce may define as the process of purchasing of available goods and services
over the Internet using secure connections and electronic payment services.

Ecommerce has a lot of advantages over “brick and mortar” stores and mail-order
catalogs. Consumers can easily search through a large database of products and
services. They can see actual prices, build an order over several days and email it as a
“wish list” hoping that someone will pay for their selected goods. Customers can
compare prices with a click of the mouse and buy the selected product at the best
prices.

One of the most common categories of e-commerce is B2C or the business to

consumers. According to Wikipedia B2C is an e-commerce deal with electronic
business relationships between businesses and consumers. Many people enjoy this
avenue of e-commerce because it allows them to shop around for the best prices, read
customer reviews and often find different products that they wouldn’t otherwise be
exposed to in the retail world. This e-commerce category also enables businesses to
develop a more personalized relationship with their customers.

With these, the proponents came up to develop an e-commerce type of website which
will be very beneficial to our client and also with her costumers. Mix and Match is an e-
commerce type of website wherein it takes the Ukay-Ukay business to the next level.
This website will have the usual navigation bars and the selection buttons, it also has a
transaction form for every customer that will purchase an item. It will have add to cart
button, search bar, and other necessary button. Every customer needs to create their
user account for them to complete the process of the item and it will save in the
database. This website allows the customer to buy more than one item at a time,
change the number of each item they are buying, let them see what their total charges
will be, It allows the website owner to add/show the shipping costs and show discounts
or rebates. The web site also will automatically compute discounts and /or shipping
charges. Other pages may be Shipping Information, Merchandise Return Policies,
General Policies, Customer Service, and Contact Information.

Proposal Details:

We the proponents came up with the idea of upgrading the traditional way of
selling Ukay-Ukay Clothes/Stuff into something more convenient to both the seller and
the buyer/customer. With the use of the E-commerce website, the seller can do
business even if she’s at home. In just one click, upload, add the product details and
price the business will start, it is really easy and not time-consuming.

Upon the start of the website development, we decided to seek for a client that has an
Ukay Business and we ask the client about the way of selling her Ukay-Ukay. So
basically she has a store located at Signal Village Taguig City. She has no problem with
the store location but she still wants to have an online website because she thinks that
having an online website will help the publicity of her Ukay business which is one way to
have a large profit.
We the proponents propose to design, develop, and maintain the website and
ecommerce system of MIX AND MATCH. We are proposing a comprehensive package
that includes designing a cutting-edge website for AND MATCH, complete with all its
web pages and sub pages, fast loading web pages, clear visuals, and basic search
engine submission and optimization.

Upon the start of the project, we design 3 sample website layouts for your approval.
Once approved, we will start developing the website using modern web techniques.

Web Development Timeframe – the time period for developing the website will
range from 4 to 7 weeks, depending on the number of pages

Payment Terms – We didn’t ask for any amount for this project since we all need
is the experienced in creating an online ecommerce site.

Revisions – We could make revisions to on this website after the design has
been completed. We work closely with the clients in making sure their websites are up-
to-date.

B. Log-In – After creating an account the user can now login using her/his

had purchased the history transaction of the user.

D. Go to Cart – It will directly shows the cart of the user the total purchased items
