Installation of Software
1. Double click to open the installer.

2. Click the next button.

3. Accept the agreement and click next.

4. Choose the location where to save the installer
then click next.

5. Check the all the boxes and click next.

7. Once the installation is complete, click the next


button.

Congratulations! You can now start creating


your interactive assessments.

Using the Trial Version

1. Click the Free Trial button.

2. Choose create a New Quiz to start the process

This Trial Version is only useful for 30 days. ICTS will distribute
the licenses as soon as possible.

Quiz Properties
1. Click the Quiz Properties to customize your
module.

2. Type the following information needed.

Type the activity.


Example:
Subject-Verb Agreement
2. Choose create a New Quiz to start the process

Type the general directions.

3. Click Edit Information to input data about the
author.

4. Supply the different fields with your name, e-mail


address, name of school, division, your subject
handled and picture.

5. You can add a multimedia content that your
learners can hear/watch before accessing the
contents of your module.

6. Click the red button to start your audio recording.


Then make sure to click the box to play
automatically.

7. If you have a short video clip not more than 3


minutes, you can add it. It will play before accessing
the contents of your module. Click the browse
button and locate it in your file.

Make sure that the Display Quiz Statistics is checked


to see the results after the activity.

8. Click Quiz Settings to change the Passing Rate
percentage, set a time limit and randomization.

Make sure to change the


value to 50%.

Do not change the


default settings in this
section.

9. To adjust the time limit, click the option button


and input the numbers

If you click this area, you


can set a specific number
of minutes per question.

10. Type the feedback message. You can customize
the contents by clicking the tools

These tools
allows you to
personalize the
general
feedback that
learners will
receive after
taking the
activity.

Make sure that the Display Quiz Statistics is checked


to see the results after the activity.

11. Click Quiz Settings to edit the general font size,


style and color you are going to use in the module.

12. Click the font button to customize. (Question


Font)
13. Suggested Font: Century Gothic 20
14. Avoid using fancy fonts and neon colors.

15. Repeat the process by customizing the Answer


Font.

11. Click Quiz Settings to edit the general font size,


style and color you are going to use in the module.

12. Click the font button to customize. (Question

16. Change the point system to the value of 1 as a


default number.

17. If you prefer to shuffle the choices in a multiple


choice type of activity. Click shuffle answers.

18. Customize the feedback each time the learner


answers a question

19. When you click Others, you will be able to


password protect the activity.

This is applicable if you decided that it is a graded


assessment. Just make sure to remember the
password in order to open the activity.

Do not click Access with use ID and password.


Do not click Domain Limit Online Access.
Do not place anything at Page Meta

Players Template Style

1. To customize the look of your module, click Players


Template.

2. Choose from the built-in templates.

3. Click background and choose picture if you prefer


your own design.

4. Search an image in your local file to be used as


background for your module template.

5. Click the toolbar, panel and highlight if you prefer


changes in the templates color.

6. Click or unclicked the rolled paper and round


corners to adjust the aesthetics of your module
template.

Make sure not to click anything in Sound and Text&Label


to avoid system problems.

7. Click layout to adjust the primary features of the
module template. You can check or uncheck the
fields.

8. Click save to make updates with the template


settings.

If you will not click save, your progress will not be updated.

1. Choose True or False if you only have two options.

2. Double-click True or False to open the system edit.

3. Type the question and choices.

4. Click the answer key.

1. Choose Fill in the Blank if you only have a typing or
identification type of activity.

2. Double-click Fill in the Blank to open the system


edit.

3. Type the question.

4. Type the answer key/s.

Make sure to type all possible answers if you prefer


not to use a case sensitive answer key.

Remember the “Garbage in Garbage Out Rule.”

5. Customize the feedback if you prefer to be more


detailed.

6. Follow the suggested font style and size.

arrangements according to order.

Click Map Activity
1. Choose Click Map if you want to have a touch-
based response in your activity.

2. Double-click Click Map to open the system edit.

3. Type the question.

4. Click the import button to upload a picture then


identify the spot for the correct answer.

The identified spot


will be darkened.

Click this area to resize the image uploaded.

Click the square or circle and point it in the picture to indicate the answer.

To create a better visualization, create a design in PowerPoint or


Photoshop then save it as jpeg file.

Publishing
1. Before publishing your work, make sure to save
your work.

2. Click the publish button.

3. Choose the web button.

4. Avoid clicking other tools as it meant only for a


Learning Management System. If we click Web, the
file created can run interactively even without an
internet connection.

5. Give a title for your interactive quiz/ module.

6. Do not click send results to specified e-mail


address. This only works for an online environment
and a link to a Learning Management System.

7. Select the location where you will save the output


file.
8. Click the publish button.
9. Choose whether you want to view the quiz/
activity or opening the folder.

10. It is highly recommended to choose “Open the Folder
Button” so you can locate and copy the file with a Flash file
format.

11. Copy the swf file format to your thumb drive and you
are now ready to share your offline e-learning interactive
module.

12. Rename the swf file for easy identification.
