Reflection

The age group selected is according to age band for preschoolers. The developmental
checklist includes characteristics that align with child readiness for this age. In
accordance to ( Kids Sense (2017) child development is mastery skills learned in a life
span. The early three years of life are important to stimulate the devemonetal growth. To
keep track of the development is important to know and recognize when a child needs
help to bring him to the next level of mastery. To do that, teachers can use strategies of
higher order thinking that will promote the development growth. This will allow the
teacher to know if a child is a candidate for possible evaluations that require professional
attention.
Developmental checklist are used as a guide to observe where the child is meeting his
goal and if he/she is at the right age range. To help students meet their potential teachers
can identify plan effectively, by process, content and product. These can be differentiated
with students interest and readiness level to max his motivation and higher order of
comprehension.
