What Are The Problems And Challenges Of Travel And Tour Companies In

Target Topic: The target topic of our research is to know the problems and
challenges of travel and tour companies, to know what are the impact of online travel
agencies surfacing the internet to their business to citizens and their overall sales a
year. By means of this research we want to know the answer their problems to come
up with possible solutions.

Research Objectives:

1. To know what are the problems and challenges of travel and tour companies in
Olongapo City .
2. To know how they promote their business to overcome the challenge.
3. To come up with possible solutions to hopefully help and have a fruit to our
research .

Statement of the Problem:

1. What do they do to promote their companies?


2. What are their problems and challenges?
3. What are the pros and cons of the travel and tour companies?

Proposed Methodology:

In this research we would interview and give surveys for them to answer, We will
combine all the answer and interviews and hopefully find answer and make this
research a success.

Target Respondents:

The target respondents for this research are the Travel and Tour Companies and
hopefully they will cooperate and make this research successful.
Introduction:

Our topic is all about the problems and challenges of Travel and Tour Companies in
Olongapo City but first we should know what Tourism is ,to know more about it

phenomenon which entails the movement of people to countries or place outside their
usual environment for personal or business/professional purpose. Next is what are
travel and tours companies? According to introduction to travel agency or
bieap.gov.in travel agencies assist individual or group wishing to take trips, planning
itheranies making transportation, hotel and tour reservation, obtaining or preparing air
tickets and performing related services. The travel agency provides a retail service
and tour operator is wholesale business in the travel market.”

We plan to survey and interview different travel and tours companies to know what
are their problems and challenges, because as we all know online travelling agencies
are surfacing the internet. We want to know how do the promote to get attract tourist
in their business and how they overcome this challenges what are their pros and cons
compared to online travel agencies and we can hopefully give out recommendations.

We thought about this research so that we can open up our minds in the topic of
tourism here in Olongapo City, especially because Olongapo City is a popular tourist
destination, we must know how travel and tours work and their pros and cons to know
if you really need to access them, this research can also help incoming tourism
students to have further knowledge about to their target work.
