About Every Nation

We exist to honor God by establishing Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, socially responsible

churches and campus ministries in every nation. We value Church Planting, Campus Ministry, World
Missions, and Social Responsibility.
Every Nation Asia
We establish new churches in Asia to reach new people and new cultures, to empower new leaders,
and to plant seeds of social transformation. Our Missions program includes:
 Regular prayer meetings for the nations
 Ten Days short term mission trips
 Every Nation School of World Missions
 Every Nation Partners
Statement of Faith
We believe:
 The Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
 That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
 In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious
and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the
Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
 That for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
 In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
 In the baptism with the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of spiritual gifts.
 In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that
are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
 In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

We also embrace and adopt the Nicean Creed
of AD325 and Chalcedonian Creed of AD451.
About Victory
In the Philippines, Every Nation churches are known as Victory, which exists to honor God and make
disciples. Victory is a member of the Philippine Missions Association, which exists to catalyze a
dynamic Philippine missions movement; and Philippine Challenge, which assists the Church to
disciple the nation and beyond.

Jesus used both teaching and short expeditions to train his disciples. On one trip, twelve of them were sent for
a few weeks to visit the villages of Galilee. When they returned, they shared with Jesus — and probably each
other — all about what happened on the trip. This model Jesus used for sending out his disciples is what we
envision for Ten Days participants.
Your team is provided with specific guidelines as to where to go, what to do, and how to serve. We’ve found
that participants also return overjoyed by how God used them to serve other and by how He changed them in
the process.

We also work with a nation’s host organization to ensure each Ten Days mission experience fits the needs
there. One trip may be organized around a single focus, while another may see to accomplish a number of
simultaneous goals. We even examine team members’ skills and experiences to determine what type of
ministry is possible, but all aspects of a trip’s goals are discussed and coordinated with the host organization.

Ten Days teams…

 DEVELOP
Increase and add value by helping establish contacts toward discipleship.

“We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone
perfect in Christ.” – Colossians 1:28

 GROW
To generate numeric growth resulting from engaging and establishing contacts.

“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” – Matthew 4:19

 SERVE
To impart a heart and attitude of service.

“..just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” –
Matthew 20:28

“Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider
equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.” – Philippians 2:5-7

 ENCOURAGE
To refresh and build up the church.

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. – 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up
according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. – Ephesians 4:29

The Creed of Chalcedon (A.D. 451)

We, then, following the holy Fathers, all with one consent, teach men to confess one and the
same Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, the same perfect in Godhead and also perfect in manhood; truly
God and truly man, of a reasonable (rational) soul and body; consubstantial (coessential) with the
Father according to the Godhead, and consubstantial with us according to the Manhood; in all
things like unto us, without sin; begotten before all ages of the Father according to the Godhead,
and in these latter days, for us and for our salvation, born of the Virgin Mary, the Mother of God,
according to the Manhood; one and the same Christ, Son, Lord, Only-begotten, to be
acknowledged in two natures, inconfusedly, unchangeably, indivisibly, inseparably; the
distinction of natures being by no means taken away by the union, but rather of the property of
each nature being preserved, and concurring in one Person and one Subsistence, not parted or
divided into two persons, but one and the same Son, and only begotten, God, the Word the Lord
Jesus Christ; as the prophets from the beginning (have declared) concerning him, and the Lord
Jesus Christ himself has taught us, and the Creed of the holy Fathers has handed down to us.

Chaldedon, Bib Sac, 138:552:326

WELCOME TO VICTORY!
We are one church with fifteen congregations in Metro Manila. We also have over sixty
churches across the Philippines. Victory was planted in 1984 at the heart of Manila’s
University Belt.

WE HONOR GOD.

At Victory, honoring God is the starting point and finish line of everything we do. We believe
a life that honors Him is a life led according to His Word and in an attitude of complete
surrender and obedience to Jesus Christ. For us, it is not about striving for perfection, but
about living lives of:

 Lordship - Because Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords, we believe that wholehearted
submission to God’s will and His Word is the starting point and the foundation of spiritual
growth.
 Evangelism – Because “God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that
whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16), we are passionate
about preaching the gospel and doing ministry in a way that engages people outside of the
Christian faith.
 Discipleship – Because we are called to make disciples, our primary focus is establishing
biblical foundations, equipping believers to minister, and empowering disciples to make
disciples.
 Leadership – Because we are called to establish churches in every nation, we are committed
to leadership development. We are intentionally multi-generational and we deliberately create
opportunities and platforms for next generation leaders.
 Family – Because family is the foundation and validation of ministry, we refuse to sacrifice
our marriages and our children on the altars of temporal ministry success. And because God has
called us to be a church family, we embrace community and reject the concept of disposable
relationships.

These five steps will get you off to the right START as you follow Christ:
 Stop trusting in yourself and your own good works, and start trusting in Christ alone for
salvation.
 Turn away from everything the Bible calls sin.
 Attend a small group for personal discipleship and weekly worship services.
 Read and obey your Bible everyday.
 Tell others about your new relationship with Christ.

WE MAKE DISCIPLES.

A disciple is someone who:

 Follows Jesus
 Fishes for people
 Fellowships with other believers

These values lead to our discipleship process:

 Engage culture and community

 Establish biblical foundations
 Equip believers to minister
 Empower disciples to make disciples

Victory group is where we engage, establish, equip, and empower others. A Victory group
meeting lasts from sixty to ninety minutes weekly. Its members help one another follow
Jesus, fish for people, and fellowship with other believers.

It was in the turbulent time of 1984 people especially the youth were clamoring for change during the
Martial Law that the team of 65 American University Evangelical Missionaries students came to the
Philippines for a month long summer mission training. They took the street of the University Belt armed
with revolutionary message of change. Theirs was not political reform but the radical life-changing
message of the Gospel of Christ. One of those were street dramas, open air campus meeting, rock n roll
seminars, or one on one conversation bold to preach the gospel on every student they met. After
holding evangelisitic meetings for 30 days straight, the young missionaries left and a young church was
established composed of 165 students who always meet on a basement of one of the cinemas in Recto
Avenue. Having just experience the transformation of the Gospel first hand a burning passion to
proclaim God’s radical love to their family and friends crypt their hearts and since God said Go they
went.
