 Introduction

I did completed My Internship from the MPD Industries

Pvt. Ltd. in marketing specialization. Where I have learnt
various practical knowledge about marketing.
MPD Industries Pvt. Ltd is a manufacturer of chemicals
which were used for various application and making by
products the marketing field is also vast the industry has
international level of trading it exports its products beyond
the nation also there is huge amount of production done in
the industries the marketing department has various
employees and salesman who work for the selling of
product by conducting various meeting with the clients who
has the requirement of the product.
MPD Industry has four Products which is majorly sold and
is main product for the revenue generation of the industry
the total profit and revenue is depended on the sales and
marketing department.
 Objective of Studying Organization

As I got the opportunity for doing internship in the MPD

Industries Pvt. Ltd. In the field of the marketing. I learn the
knowledge of the marketing which the skills required for
field of marketing.
My internship is the part of summer internship of my MBA
I have learn the strategy of marketing and how to do
marking the foreign trade.
I came to know the margin profit from sale of the product
the actual costing of manufactured product of the company
there is huge volume of chemical product which is
distributed for sale to various markets and vendor for sale
and collecting amount from there.

 Overview of the Organization

The MPD industries is the chemical company which

produces chemical and sale it to coating industry, ink
industry, adhesive industry, UV curable products for
various application and oleo chemicals.

The chemical is also exported out of India in large quantity.

Various product produced by the company are Resin,
ultraviolet, curing resin, oil, Oleo Chemicals, Processed
Oil.

MPD Industries Private Limited is an unlisted private

company. MPD Industries Private Limited was
incorporated on 05 April, 2000. The company has 2
directors and no reported key management personnel. The
registered office of the company is at 59 & 63, Industrial
Area, Sector 'A' Sanwar Road, Indore, M.P., Madhya
Pradesh.
 Brief History

1962 : Established in the year 1962 as solvent extraction

plant under the banner of Gwalior Oil Mills by Mr.
Jayantibhai N. Patel with technical collaboration with M/s.
Larsen & Toubro and Rosebown Thompson of United
Kingdom.
1978 : In the year 1978 Gwalior Oil Mills diversified to
Hydrogenation of Vegetable Oils & Processed vegetable
oil. Gwalior oil mils got National acceptability products
and it scaled new heights.
1986 : In the year 1986, Saw the emergence of M. P. Dye
Chem Industries Pvt. Ltd. With the Resin manufacturing
capacity of 4 tons per day.
1992 : Setup of Edible Oil Refinery with capacity of 30
tons per day.
1996 : Resin manufacturing capacity increased from 8 tons
per day to 15 tons per day. With introduction of specialty
resin to serve the concerned industries.
2001 : Fatty acid plant came in production with
manufacturing capacity of 7 tons per day.
2004 : Introduction of Ultra violet curing products and got
national and internationals acceptability.
2005 : Expansion of Resin plant from 15 tons per day to 25
tons per day. Expansion for glycerin distillation plant 10
tons per day. Expansion for production of world class
quality products of Bio Diesel.
2006 : ISO 9001 Certification of Indore Facility.
2006 : ISO 14000 Certification
2010 : IS018000Certification
2010 : Shifting from fossil fuel to bio fuel completely thus
reducing the carbon footprint
2011 : Change in name From M.P. Dyechem Industries to
MPD Industries P Ltd.
2012 : Expansion of fatty acid plant to facilitate DCO fatty
Acid Exports
2013 : Increased resin manufacturing capacity to solid
capacity of 87.5 tons a day (for a 24 hours cycle batch)
2015 : Palletiser for resin cooling and state of art raw
material and storage facility.
 Nature of the Organization

MPD Industries Pvt. Ltd. is a chemical manufacturing

industry. It is a profit making organization which operates
in Indore has various branches in India. The total revenue
of the company was 18 crore rupees annually.

This company operates domestic as well foreign trade

marketing. MPD Industries Private Limited Is
Manufacturer, Supplier & Exporters Of Polyester Resin,
Amino Resin, Ester Gums, Hardner, Ketonic Resin, Ink
Oil, Monomers, Additives, Ultra Violet Adhesives, Fatty
Acids, Refined Glycerin, Processed Oils.
 Number of Employees

There are almost 100 employees and labors including office

and factory. In office, operation there is 25 to 30
employees.

 Marketing Operation

MPD Industries Pvt. Ltd. Is manufacturing unit where the

raw material is imported from foreign countries and is
converted into the finished product so that it can be sold in
the open market in domestic or international market.
Operation department handles the production procedures
such as making different types of product and there product
lines.
The products are packed firstly in primary basis or primary
packing there after it is given secondary packaging. Plastic
Packing Box packing containers are used for packing
purpose according to the chemical property of the product.
Solid Product and liquid Product are the two states of
product which is produced in the company and packed for
transportation carefully.
For transportation there are various modes used this modes
are Shipping cargo, Airways, Railways, Roadways-Lorries,
Trucks and carries.

The finished and final products are sending for the selling
to the various vendors, the national and international

It was great experience while doing internship in MPD

Industry Pvt. Ltd. I learnt many things about foreign trade
marketing and domestic marketing.

I got the knowledge of chemical products and also come to

know the needs and requirements of chemical in various
fields.

The chemical raw material needs for the manufacturing of

finished chemical products. And they are working to import
and export products to other country.

Overall experience of doing the internship in MPD Industry

Pvt. Ltd. is very nice. I got theoretical and practical
knowledge also.
