INDIA’S INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS WITH HER


NEIGHBOURS
ABSTRACT
From a global perspective, India has been known to be a
peace loving country and for maintaining a healthy
relationship with her neighbours. Pakistan, Bangladesh,
Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Burma and China are India’s
immediate neighbours with whom it has friendly
relations based on bonds of common culture and
heritage.In this project, we will study India’s international
relations with China, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
With China, a study will be conducted on all the relations,
including the border disputes, the Doklam standoff, the
nuclear deal, etc.
With Pakistan, the terror attacks, the Kashmir issue and a
lot of other problems will be looked into, including the
unstable state of relations the countries share.
With Bangladesh, the historical ties, the issue of illegal
migration and various other issues.
With Sri Lanka, the areas of mutual co-operation, the
tamil seperatists, the bilateral free trade agreement,etc.
