Teaching Strategies and Procedures

Teacher’s Activity Student’s Activity

A. Daily Routine
1. Prayer
Kindly Stand and let’s pray.

2. Greetings
Good Morning Class! Good Morning Sir!

3. Classroom Management
Before taking your seat, kindly pick up
those pieces of paper under your chair
and see to it that your chairs are
properly aligned.

4. Checking of attendance
Monitor, Who are the absentees today?

B. Preparatory Activities

1. Motivation
Class I have here a video presentation.
Kindly watch and after the video. I
have some questions.

Okay class, What happen to the person Sir the person in the video was accident.
in the video?

Very good! .
Next question. What do you think is the Because sir the person is not following rules
reason why that incident happened?

Good observation.

Third question. If the person has a

protection or protective equipment, do No sir
you think such accident would be
prevented?

Precisely!

For the last. Do you think PPE can help Yes sir
us prevent and avoid accidents?

Good job!

C. Developmental Activity

1. Presentation
Most of the times, the metals are
combined by the soldering lead. And
also uses Soldering iron. Now, we are
going to discuss the proper use of
soldering iron.

2. Discussion
In proper use of hand tools, there are
different ways to use or handle that
particular tools or equipment.

1. Prepare the soldering tools/ materials.

2. Plug in the soldering iron until it
reaches the 400⁰C.
3. Hold the soldering iron like a pen.
4. Wipe the tip of the soldering iron on
the wet damp sponge.
5. Apply a small amount of soldering lead
on the tip of soldering iron. Then repeat
number 3.
6. Touch the soldering iron onto the joint
to be soldered.
Demonstration of procedures 7. Inspect closely the joint that are already

3. Generalization Got it!

Why is it important to melt the lead to
the joint to be soldered?

Brilliant idea! It seems that you really Sir, because the lead serves as the glue or paste
understood our lesson today. of the two joints.

4. Application
Class, you can now put your materials
on your table. Each group will make a
triangle using the solid wire and
soldering tools and materials. The students will make their activity.
