I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards
 The learners demonstrate an understanding of: the responsibilities and accountabilities of
entrepreneurs and accountabilities of entrepreneurs toward the employees, government, creditors,
suppliers, consumers, general public, and other stakeholders; major ethical issues in
entrepreneurship (basic fairness, personnel and customer relations distribution dilemmas, fraud,
unfair competition, unfair communication, non-respect of agreements, environmental degradation,
etc.)
B. Performance Standards
 Identify responsibilities to the organization he/she belongs to.

IV. PROCEDURES
A. Reviewing previous lesson or presenting the new lesson
 Review on Filipino value systems on how they affects the attitudes of the business constituents;
and what is good and morally unacceptable among the given Filipino values. (connect to new
lesson-Social responsibility of entrepreneurs)
B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson
 Story telling as motivation (I want a Company). In this lesson, the students will going to define
what social responsibility is and identify the stakeholders that a business organizations should
answer to. The learners will be ask to participate in the whole duration of the class for them to
grasp the concepts.
C. Presenting examples/ instances of the new lesson
 The teacher will present examples/instances by asking the students questions:
 Why is it companies conduct outreach programs?
 What is the purpose?
D. Discussing new concepts and practicing new skills #1
 Activity: “DEFINE ME”
The teacher will ask word/s from the class that best defines or associates with the words SOCIAL
RESPONSIBILITY and publish it on the board. Then the teacher will divide the class into 4
groups. Each group will define Social Responsibility using all the words publish on the board. Each
members of the group will write one word on the board and one after the other within a given time
of 1 minute. The points of each group will be scored according to the rubric below.

E. Discussing new concepts and practicing new skills #2
 Activity: “PICK & MATCH”
The teacher will utilized same groupings. The groups will match column A with column B and 3
minutes to discuss. They will identify what statements in column B corresponds with the
stakeholders in the column A. Each members of the group will write the answers on the board one
after the other with in a given time of 1 minute. The points of each group will depend on their right
answers.

F. Developing mastery (leads to Formative Assessment 3)
 The teacher will conduct oral recitation among the learners to check if the learners has grasp the
concepts. The teacher will give feedbacks and inputs to deepen and develop mastery among
learners.
G. Finding practical applications of concepts and skills in daily living
 Questions: In what way can these CSRs help the business organization?
 Who can benefit from it?
 How can the stakeholders affect the operation of the business?
 How can they contribute to the success of the business?
H. Making generalizations and abstractions about the lesson
 Generalization: How important are these stakeholders to success of the business organization?
 Abstraction: Social Responsibility is an idea that suggests that organizations behave ethically and
with consideration to social, cultural, economic, and environmental issues. This could be translate
to a business entity donating to a local charity or creating an outreach program. It can also take on
less obvious forms, such as spending for better quality materials or improving benefits of one’s
employees so that they will be more productive. A Stakeholder is defined as any person, group, or
organization that has an interest or concern in the enterprise like, employees, suppliers, regulators,
financiers, competitors, customers, media, and society
