INTRODUCTION

What is Family? Family is defined as a specific group of people that may be made up of
partners,children,parents,aunts,uncles,cousins,and grandparents.An example of family is a set of
parents living with their children.Families are who you love.Our families all “Look” different and its
always been so.A family caregiving unit might consist of a couple; A mother,father and children; A
single parent and child;Grandparent and grandchildren;A sibling group;A circle of friends; Or
however that family defines itself.

Families are the foundation of society.It’s where we come into the world,are nurtured and given
the tools to go out into the world capable and healthy or we aren’t.While families break down
and fail to provide the healthy nurturing we need, the effects impact not only our own lives,but
also our communities.Families have problems and causes such as poor communication, financial
problem, favoritism, and being far from your family.The effects of poor communication in the
family can also tremendously effect the teenage years of an adolescent.Another effects of
broken homes on children the effects of a broken family on child.Older children and teenagers
may experience some problems in social,emotional and educational functioning.Emotional after
a divorce,children from pre-school through late adolescence can experience deficits in emotional
development.Children of all ages may seem fearful or depressed.

Family problems that affect students the impact of family and relationship problems.

Often family are the most important people to you so relationships problems can be considerably
distressing and can lead to negative emotions, anger, sadness, anxiety, stress. Problems at home
can affect a child’s psychological health adversely and take a toll on their development .

Families may experience relationship difficulties stages. For instance, the birth of a baby or sending
children to start school can cause stress for young families. Dealing with adolescence can also
cause difficulties, not just for teenagers but also parent and siblings. Indeed each stage of a
family’s life can have a seemingly inexhaustible supply of conflict possibilities. Meanwhile changes
that affect a family’s situation can create tension too, such as moving house, redundancy
changing jobs (especially if this takes a parent away from their family or long period of time),
marriage, separation, divorce, redundancy and changes to family financial circumstances.
Nowadays, fifty percent of all children born to married parents will deal with divorce before they
are 18. Forty-five percent of children grow up without fathers. In modern day America, it is no
longer considered taboo to be living in a house with a single parent. Most days, divorce seems like
the answer to a marriage falling apart, but with marriages involving children, it may affect the kids
more than the parents. High school dropout rates are twice as high with kids from broken homes
than kids with families still together. Studies also show that kids with divorced parents have lower
test scores than kids with parents who are still married. The news of divorce can be a shock. Some
kids may not be able to handle change as well as others. And it depends on how the parents
communicate it with kids because they may feel the need to fix their parents relationship and that
can become their new priority. They lose the balance of school and home life, and home life can
become more important. The pressures of divorce (picking sides, listening to fights and negative
comments about other parents) could create psychological problems for the kids. Anxiety,
depression, speech defects, and stress are all common occurrences when it comes to divorce.
These symptoms distract kids from their schooling, making it more difficult to focus on school work.
This is the most essential component of a country. A home is that where a family lives. No one
wants to lose the secure feeling that a family provides. No matter how ideal a family in the terms
of their relationship, there are still hardships and mis-uderstandings that will come along the way. It
is just part of any relationship anyway. But the sad part is that when one of the family members
gave up and the others have no choice but to accept and let go. Thus, the family starts to be
broken. A broken home can disrupt and confuse a child’s world. Broken family is a major problem
of society that should be given enough attention this paper seeks to explore the ways and means
through which a positive relationship in a family could be established keywords: oneself to grow.
But differences have been found to each family.

PURPOSE OF THE STUDY

The researchers wanted to find out for what is the effect of the family problems towards the
students of Nagpayong high school. The researchers need to know how does the impact of stress
for being a students and have a heavier problem to their family.the researchers also need to
analyze what should family do if they have a problem to their family that can may affect their
child.

II. METHODOLOGY
We have formulated questions answerable by Yes or No to root-out the point of view of the
students on the Family problem whose everyone is concerned. Likewise, to know their priorities in
solving the problem, we let them rank some ideas. The facts were expressively given by the
respondents and were collected:

A. Respondents/Participants are Grade 7, Grade 8, Grade 9, Grade 10 and Senior High

students of Nagpayong High School.

B. Data Collection/Tally the results of the survey answerable by Yes or No and ranking from 1
as the most to 6 as the least.

Based on the result of our survey, as shown in the Chart above, students: It is very important to the
family that they are supporting and loving each other to overcome any problem that could be
encountered. Some family destroyed or broken due to some reasons that instead they will support
one of each member that encountered some problem or depressed they are the one who
blamed or discouraging them. Every problem that could happens in the family have a solution
always. The parents guidance and advise to their children is the best solution for family problem.
Their are saying that the family that prays together stays together.

In here, most of them are suffering from the parents-children relationship problem. Base on the
graph or chart, it shows that parent versus children relationship is most problem encountered in the
family. It is important that the parents will always guide their children to the correct path and discipline
them in their young age explain the good and bad so that they understand. It is important also to parents
that no favoritism to the member of their child to avoid children vs.children problem. The most important
of all is communication to each every of the family to avoid mis-understanding.

Lastly, to have a happy family, parents have first proper seminar of parenthood to fulfill their
responsibility as father and mother to their children. Then, to support their living and education of
the children, parents have stable job. In reality, people in the community are just secondary
behind the success of Family.As a student show your respect to your parents and love them. Ask
the support and guidance of your parents to reach your goal in life.
IV. SUMMARY/CONCLUSIONS

Based on our survey, Family problem is part of one’s life that can affect heavily the students’
aspirations and achievement in school. They got low grades or even failed in some subjects which
means more time and costs in pursuing education. Its good enough, they faced various family
problems and they believe seeking solutions is best rather than letting themselves lost their dreams.
However, some negatively reacted by leaving out their homes that a family may be broken to
avoid physical and emotional distress to family members. Others believe that still, while seeking
help from good people in the society, they still can pursue dreaming and attain their good future.
These are all the result of poor parenting which parents failed to fulfill their duties and
responsibilities.

RECOMENDATIONS

As recommendation, marriage is not a game or a chance. Parents must be prepared prior to

building a family, becoming a father, a mother and children. Right, both must have proper
seminars in nurturing and guide the children. If not just as easy and a family harmonious
relationship faded little by little, hence, the elders and people from community may bridge to
keep and save the family to be broken and giving the children a happy students life while in
school.
